Not sure if srs...
The cost of living would go through the roof..
Take away, cars, tools, groceries, etc. would all increase in price.
More money = more demand
More demand = less supply
Less supply = higher prices (exclusive)
Doesn't mean everything's "exclusive" btw.
And higher wages = higher end product cost
Think before you speak/type bro..
May be a troll post... Fekk.

anyone who thinks that the federal or even state minimum wages are adequate are retarded.
in MA minimum wage is $8, which is much higher than the federal.
full time job @ min wage = 16,000/year
barely breaks the poverty line, and it hasnt increase in years compared to cost of living which has been steadily rising.** Patriots Crew **

Thats not what we are arguing here.
Ideally, everyone would be ballin making all kinds of money, to come home to their happy family.. Completely free from debt/ worry etc. But thats not the case here and raising the minimum wage is going to do nothing but continue to kill the middle class...Last post in every thread crew

We use the progressive tax system.
There's 3 brackets;
Low income
Medium income
High income
The low income earners pay very low tax, medium income earners pay decent tax, and high income earners pay the most.
Now I find this to be a bs system, it's not fair that those that work harder are taxed higher than those with less.
Business owners take the risk of running a business, only to be taxed greater than everyone else.
There should be a flat tax rate that everyone should agree with.
Of course the poor people say "it's not fair we don't have money" while we use this progressive method, but if they were wealthy I doubt they'd want to use this method.
Fuark, good thing I paid attention in economics and business management lulz.

If it is agreed that $8 an hour isn't an adequate wage, then it should be raised.
Just because minimum wage goes up, doesn't mean the companies HAVE to pass on the extra money to the consumer. That is their choice. I have more of an issue with corporations caring so much about such an insignificant increase in salary, that they they push that on the consumer. I'm sure the companies are much more capable of absorbing the increase than the general public right now, but they don't give a flying ****, which is their right and choice. But don't blame the government.
The same arguments were made when minimum wage came into effect, even though at the time workers were literally in sweat shops facing borderline slave conditions. Its not a government problem, its not a leech on society problem, its a corporation trying to squeeze every dollar out of the citizen's problem.** Patriots Crew **
