Not a huge weight, but she's come a long way. Being so tall squats aren't exactly her forte. She's competing on Sunday, looking for 50 and 60 from her. She doubled 43 in the snatch earlier in the week. Been training about 7 months.

Ha yeah, I hate to see a grinder like that, but I teach them not to quit on lifts. What Laura lacks in natural ability she makes up for with mental toughness. That girl will sit down on a max snatch attempt a dozen times with no fear at all. A lot of really talented female lifters (especially newer ones) are afraid to go under the bar when it gets heavy.
