I'm sitting here thinking why the hell do I even lift? Help me figure it out by telling me why you lift.
Here's some reason why people lift but none of these apply to me.
To get girls.
For sports
To be bigger/more muscular than friends
Health
???
Here's a bit about me.
Self employed( no coworkers)
Married
No friends
Already more muscular than people around me.(inb4 avi)
Already healthy( I think)
All I'm doing is depriving myself of good food and spending most evenings in the gym.

You forgot to list one of the main reasons OP, people actually get a kick out of lifting weights. If that's how you really feel then I'd just stop, no need to force yourself to do something you don't like in order to gain something, that's like working a dead-end horrible job just to put food on the table, you'll just end up depressed.
If staying in shape is your goal, try to explore other venues, get into like martial arts or other sports.Xbox 360 GT: Clide Whit

i know most people start lifting to improve their image but im taking a couple of gerontology courses about aging and my professor is constantly showing us pictures, videos, data, and statistics that prove that lifting/working out/exercising slow the aging process and prevents a lot of diseases and wear on your body caused by aging. so if you want to have a frail, and painful last few years then you should stop lifting. if you want to live longer and healthier then keep it up.
oh heavenly blessed beauty...

Well if you don't have many friends the gym is a great way to meet new people. I've met some really cool people at the gym cops, judges, business owners, etc. I'm sure you need a life outside of your marriage.

I lift because I wanted to put a lot of effort into something other than my job, I run too. I keep going to try and keep myself disciplined I suppose. I have already done the whole eat and watch TV thing, it gets boring and you feel like you're wasting your life. If you can think of anything you can be doing with that time that you can consider living then go for it but for me, you just can't beat trying to improve yourself. Life is too short to spend in front of a tv screen

if you stop lifting, you will no longer be muscular, and you'll probably get fat. Being fat isn't healthy. Also, your wife probably wouldn't appreciate it if you got fat. If you feel like you're lifting too much, then review your program and make adjustments so that you spend less time training. If you're ok with being a giant doughnut, then cancel your gym membership and eat some cake.

What about lifting in a more cardio way to burn more calories and be in better shape? Ie(superset workouts, circuit training) and running. You won't use the same amount of weight but you'll burn more calories, be more active and then you can go out to eat more and not worry as much.
Try signing up for the warrior dash or tough mudder or run for your life or a 5k. That will give you a goal to train for and a new sense of purpose.---------------------------------------

Do whatever you want, but I guarantee you will regret it in a year if you do quit.
I know if I went back to looking like I did before I'd be so disappointed in myself. Going from AVI to non-lifting chubber, no thanks Jeff LOL*LTC*

Some, about 70-80% bodybuilders like to get fat off-season so they can powerlift. I'm a powerlifter off-season. In contest I get ready for a bodybuilding show. I'm a /Bodybuilder Powerlifter."
