Thanks a lot, yeah I'm thinking the same thing. So I'll repeat 365 this Friday.

I'm getting impatient for Intensity day on Friday. I even wanted to workout yesterday. Recovery day today, I'm going to try to workout between my physio class and my math class this afternoon. That way I'll be using up broken time that isn't very useful for studying anyway. Trying to set up a consistent schedule is kinda tough, especially when I just want to do everything right now.

stick to your guns on the recovery day brotha! you'll be happy you did.

thats one groovy belt, where did you find it or order it? I think I've seen the same or something similar in matt ogus/lavado's videos. Is it pretty adjustable? My current belt doesnt go small enough and its a bodybuilding.com small size lol.

strong squats, lets see an updated vid!

I'll have to have Arian11 make a vid when we workout together on Friday. I got the belt from inzernet.com, it's kind of pricey, but it's worth it and it'll last. I got a medium and I'm 4 whole inches from maxing it out, so depending on the size of your natural waste, a small should be good, you can probably even fit a medium, as there's a bunch of holes on the back end that I didn't bother counting since I'm only concerned with getting bigger! lol. I'm sticking to recovery, following my chart and taking it easy like I should. Super pumped about I-day on Friday though, I backed that weight off too because it's supposed to be a heavy 5 reps, but not a true 5 rep max, so I'll be squatting 320, but at this depth and with corrected form, I may as well just call it a PR since I don't really want to count that crappy 335x5 from months ago. If I make a vid, you guys will be able to see how crappy my uni gym is, haha.

Badass. I need to see if I can pull 405 since I haven't ever tried it, but Arian11 will get pissed that I did heavy single again instead of sticking to the 5 reps like I'm supposed to.

    January 16th, Week 4
    Recovery Day

    Squat
    225 x 5
    225 x 5

    Bench
    166.5 x 5
    166.5 x 5
    166.5 x 5

    Hypers
    BW +15 x 10
    BW +15 x 10
    BW +15 x 10
    BW +15 x 10
    BW +15 x 10

    Chins
    BW +5 x 10
    BW +5 x 10
    BW +5 x 7-2-1 (10)

    Hell yeah, poverty weights.

Not much to say about today. Did my thing and left in 45 minutes or less. Not many people in the gym except some dudes who I guess were football pictures, since they were on posters around the gym (dafuq?) and some asian brah was teaching his extremely asian brah how to do a cable row (it was a **** show), and then some mid-eastern twig people were dinking around with dumbbells, didn't really pay attention to what exactly they were doing, because it was phucked up. So I just got in, got out, got on with life, showered, went to class.

Looking forward to I-Day. The more people in there, the better, because, "Yeah I phuckin grunt when I when I get my swell on at the gym, that's cause everyone should see just how jacked, and tan I am... Whoiit!!!!" -my new haircut.

Something I have noticed throughout my time with TM was that my 1RM squat was about 50 lbs more than my 5RM squat, and that was about 50 lbs more than my volume squat.

That's pretty accurate for most. That's actually EXACTLY the correlation between 5rm, 5x5 and 1rm.

Thanks guys, week 4 though, I'm still trying to figure things out and get into a rhythm with this... but I definitely need to figure out what's up with my 5RM and my 1RM, maybe I have more in me?

edit: I need to get some more people in here so I can spread reps around and give you guys another round of my poverty reps.

    275*5*0.3333=46 lbs
    350*5*0.3333=58 lbs

That makes sense for anyone with a 5RM in the 275-350 range. Don't know what is up with you RipCJ. My all-time 5RM is 395 and all-time competition 1RM is 463.
    395*5*0.3333=66 lbs
    395+66=461 lbs

    About dead on.

I guess my 5rep, especially after my deload this week, is in the right range, 275x5x5 - doing 320x5 on Friday. But that's still only 30 pounds from my 1 rep instead of 50.

I try to always be in and out of the gym quickly. There's no one there I care about, and that sesh was in between classes. V-Day and I-Day take a lot of time because of all the rest between sets, but Recovery Day is kinda like "meh, whatever, let's get outta here." That and the beady little eyes of all the chicks on the elypticals was getting annoying.

Too easy? You didn't see my right knee shaking like a leaf on rep 4? I really want to pull 405 but I don't want to shoot for it, miss it, and then not be able to get anything else that day, or the following Monday. If I pull 405 I'll be 6.5 lbs from 1000lb club, even if my other lifts don't move at all.

No point in wasting energy pulling 405 after a top set of 5 when he is going to pull 425+ after a deload. Come at us bro.

I dunno, maybe I just move too slow in between warmups and exercises. Whenever I'm just halfway done with my workout I notice that it's been well over an hour already. Time just flies in the gym I guess.

Oh and your lifts look good! I just noticed the consistent butt-wink in the squats, but I can't seem to get that right either no matter how hard I try.
