did the gym first thing this morning then worked then hung out. glory i am in."the gym is the one and only place in the world where failure is acceptable."

for me, it's a combination of things working.
1. keep your pace up and you'll find yourself out of breathe faster than you realize. especially if you use good 'form' (notice i try to throw the hammer head up far above my head. i've seen videos where people barely clear their shoulder)
2. it works the upper back, if you keep your abs tight your core, arms, shoulders, forearms, and my hands. my hands were cramping the first few days after use.
3. anger management. seriously. just beating the **** out of that tire made me feel better.
and if nothing else, it's a different style of training. diversity is a deadly weapon when it comes to training techniques.Manlet for Life

Met a bodybuilder yesterday. He is also a trainer. I'm thinking about meeting up with him for a few sessions just to learn something. Good idea?

Eating 2900 cal a day now for muscle gains after 2700 wasn't enough food. It's been a week and lifts are increasing so we'll see how it goes in another 3-4 weeks.

Sharp pain in my left forearm today after arm day, "forearm splints?" It has been happening to me for the past month but I keep pushing through it, Its never hurt this bad the next day though.
Biceps are lacking, seems I can do rope curls without feeling the pain but when I touch an easy bar or dumbbell preacher curls I can barley hold the weight without feeling the pain.
Should I just take a break (would hate to stop doing arms cause they are small)? Or do the exercises that dont hurt? Can I see gains off rope curls?

rope curls (i'm assuming neutral grip) are similar to a hammer curl. they'll help build your bicep but they're not going to create the round, peak look everyone goes for.
I'd let you body recover... maybe try to stretching your wrists and forearms prior to any arm training. (or maybe some forearm specific training. i don't believe in this as i find it a waste of time but in your case it might be beneficial to helping alleviate your pain)
as far as your arms being small... they're going to get a workout on back day, chest day, shoulder day etc. they won't grow as much as they would with specific training but they certainly won't shrink provided you're doing the basic compound movements for back, chest, shoulders etc.
and the trick to big arms isn't a big bicep, it's a big tricep.... the bicep gets all the glory but the tricep is actually the bigger muscle.
do dumbbell exercises cause pain? if not i'd stick to those.... do the same curls you would with a bar just use dumbbells... it'll allow your wrists to move more naturally rather than being locked in a fixed position. I had to do this for a while (and still do every now and then) when my tendonitis acts up in my wrists."Obsessed" is a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated.

Thanks for the info. I have some wrist problems also, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I have lost some range of motion in my arms and especially my left wrist, (some what in my legs also but nothing too bad) so im kind of pick and choose with working my arms, If I do straight bar curls my left wrist feels like its going to fall apart when I set the bar down, I didnt have these problems with the easy bar, but now with the easy bar I get the forearm pain. I can do most dumbbell exercises without pains.
Ive been working my triceps pretty had and I feel they have seen alot of gains im just missing that bicep peak I so desperately want.

Even if he is "on", those are still great gains. Cell tech doesnt magically give you muscles. You still have to put in the work, have the diet, have the motivation etc.
