Firstly, I know you were being sarcastic. Secondly, everyone should be alarmed by their inefficiency and fiscal losses. Even MSM will tell you this: http://miami.cbslocal.com/2012/11/15...sing-billions/
But this ^ is "new" report, when it was known they were bleeding billions in losses for the past several years.
And "smart" people thought to themselves, "Hmmm....yes, lets let the govt run 1/5th of our entire economy (Obamacare), because they're doing such a swell job with time-tested other ventures that aren't nearly at that breadth
Lastly, you live and work with these idiots

Yes, and that's why liberals (twisted ones) will argue that we already have socialism! (don't forget to add in police and firemen). It's a great argument, really. After all they demonstrate against their own weak argument about that....."slippery slope" that they so hate .
Can't fault this one on libs, as it was Roberts himself, that decided this. I hate it, but I can't run from facts.

It was less about Roberts deciding vote, given of course that Ginsburg and Sotomayor will do whatever ever Obama wants, and more about the notion that the Constitution is pretty much whatever they want it to be whenever they wish. This is true for infringements from the left and the right, though Ginsburg is the most unapologetic when it comes to describing her job as more fostering her own view of goodwill and morality than it is adhering to the letter of the law. I hate the bitch. And I mean that.

Not for me it wasn't. That was never my intended point. The off handed reference to the health care act was a very small component of my skepticism as it pertains to the courts; a skepticism I've held rather intensely since the Patriot Act came to pass, though I freely admit that was more a function of my naivety up to that point in time and less of one of the court changing.
edit: Along those lines though, Roberts is one person. I suppose I can't fault the libs for being libs if my game is to split the court along those lines, but it's not.2 + 2 = 5 (for extremely large values of 2)

But it was mine; a well known conservative judge...casting the deciding vote. Epic. Am I wrong?
I understand...maybe we just clashed on what we perceived as "important" out of that. Me? Was totally wrapped up in why Roberts chose to land where he did. With his pedigree....it was more than interesting to me.
As far as the Patriot Act is concerned, we would have to make a different thread . It is a subject that will be argued for eons....if we last that long .
