thanks brotha, its almost fully recovered as of today, its just fairly tender. It does feel right on the muscle tie-in at the top of the trap. I think the high rep squats are training my lungs more than my legs
dang, a broken rib? whats the recovery time on something like that?

First day of spring semester at MSU
clocked a solid 3 hour sleep, 4 hours of classes, and a 4 hour nap... almost inclined to switch my nap/sleep titles.
Even with 7 hours, I was dragging along today
Took a rounded single scoop of d-stunner with my 5g creatine monohydrate. Fully consumed 15 minutes pre-workout. Home gym, fantastic energy, no crash, no slowing down, worked out as long as I "slept" last night, and could have kept going but no use in beating a dead horse. when the muscles are cashed, they are cashed.

hahaha no it didnt! thats fantastic. I forced myself to take 1.5 scoops on at least 1 day just for frame of reference (you cant thoroughly test a product on just 1 sample size lol)
Last few days drinking the entire shake on the way to the gym ~10-12 minutes before has had great success. I walk into the gym and immediately start crushing weights. The thermogenic effect of this product has me feeling warmed up already; 2/3 warmup sets of whatever muscle group i'm working, and im good to go.NCCPT, NFPT CPT

January 15, "Legs" (Squats) and Shoulders
no d-stunner, no video today sorry guys! saving my serving for when I can record the making/post workout review
soooooon.jpeg
giving myself a couple more rest days by combining shoulders and legs yesterday, seeing as I'll start back up with legs again on saturday. Depending on how antsy I get, I may have to hit Chest on Friday, Sat Legs, Mon Back, Tues Chest/Shoulders. My schedule is still a little wacky as im training a friend of mine this semester.
post workout weight: 180.8
now I'm highly confident this significant weight loss (or weight gain depending on the day you compare it with) is directly related to water versus pre workout carb intake. That morning I had at most 40 grams of carbs, and my body refused to hang on to most of my workout gallon of water.
Squats
45 x 10
135 x 5
225 x 5
315 x 5
315 x 5
315 x 5
315 x 5
[size=+2]315 x 5!
first time getting 315 x 5, and I got it in all 5 sets. Someone high-five me please.
That is all I did for legs unfortunately, i'll make up for it Saturday.
Seated Overhead Press
45 x 10
95 x 15
135 x 6
135 x 10
135 x 10
135 x 10
Hammer Str Shoulder Press
130 x 6
180 x 6
180 x 10
180 x 10
230 x 6
DB Lateral Raise
4 sets 20lb x 15
my rear delts were stil fatigued from my back day, so I avoided working them today.
I wanted to do so much more but
1: the gym was packed, it was possibly the most obnoxious day I've witnessed there.
2: my body honestly needed to recover more than anything. I've been nailing my compounds in my chest/back days

thanks!
Been a while since I've given you guys a workout!
took a few days off, yesterday (January 19th) managed to get in a back/arms workout
January 19, Back/Arms
emphasis on lats. lots of volume today. I suppose a few days/week off of d-stunner lowered my tolerance again. I. Was. AMPED!
I was simply impressed with how long this preworkout took me yesterday. My back workout (with 2 people I was training) took about 1 hr and change. This grueling arms workout you are about to see put me to a total of 3 hours.
3 hrs of training, ~ 2 gallons of water, and 6 or 7 trips to the bathroom later and I was done! (too much information? )
1 rounded scoop, d-stunner
5g creatine monohydrate
post workout weight: 180.9
Pullups
BW x 10
25 x 5
45 x 5
70 x 5
90 x 2
90 x 2
70 x 3
70 x 3
70 x 3
Hammer Str Lat Pulldown single arm
90 x 8
135 x 15
160 x 15
180 x 9
205 x 6
2-arms 230 x 20
V-grip Lat Pulldown
100 x 15
120 x 15
140 x 12
140 x 12
160 x 8
the arms workout was a workout pulled from this months Muscle & Fitness. The arms routine of Sergio Oliva (RIP)
It was too long to record to memory what weights I did specifically per set since it had been my first time running through this routine (experimenting with weights versus the volume) but just to quick cap approximately;
-My bicep barbell curls went up to 85's for 8 but most sets were performed at 75
-Weighted dips Actually got up to 115 x 8, extremely happy about that. It was a grinder set for sure.
-Wide grip barbell preacher curls I actually did on the hammer str preacher curl machine. Exhausted from the first 6 sets of biceps, stayed at 45-65 lbs
-Cable Pushdown ...full stack
-Alternating Dumbbell Curl up to 45's, bottomed at 30's
Next time I'll bring the new notebook in and record this 3 hour grueling workout (next time I wont be dumb and try to pair it with a back day )
I've still got about 3/4 of a serving (scoop) left.
I'm hanging on to this thing for dear lifeNCCPT, NFPT CPT
