yo dudes whats up? i'm new to this forum and i got a question: I recently bought this Australian product called "Maxes rock hard and ripped, vanila nougat" and its a protein powder mixed with a thermogenic formula of guarana, L-carnitine and all this other stuff and it says to only mix it with water because milk will reduce its thermogenic effeciency, the only problem is it tastes like vomit mixed with water but i have tried mixing it with milk and a couple of packets of nutra sweet and it actually tastes ok, my question is will milk really reduce the thermogenic effect or is that just some bull**** they made up? i hope it is because i simply cannot stand the taste of it and i've got a whole 2kg container to go through, can somebody help clear this up? thanx

well the thing is caffeine tends to react very negatively to thermogenics...read the label- almost any thermogenic will say "AVOID CONSUMPTION OF CAFFEINE WHILE USING THIS PRODUCT- MAY POSE SERIOUS HEALTH RISKS"... many thermogens are designed to speed up your heart rate and stimulate your nervous system while doing that- adding caffeine to the picture will blow it out of proportion, and you could very easily die of a heart attack.... think of it as taking a depressant drug, then going out and having some alchohol.
