    when i do crunches my neck hurts....wut could i do as a substitute?

    youre neck is hurting becuase youre doing crunch's wrong..focus all youre weight to youre abdominal area and dont pull up with youre neck it strains youre neck and it hurts..i know, i used to have the same thing.

    Incorrect form. Remember the crunch works your ABS. Don't let your neck wander while you are performing the exercise. You wouldn't do weird **** when you are squatting heavy, so why would you do weird [feeling] **** when working your abs? Form on every exercise is important.

    u are using incorrect form.

    stop reaching with your head


    take more time and do your crunches slower, to keep good form

    your abs might be weak, if u need to cheat... practice
