    Advice needed.

I'm having my first PL comp in about 5 weeks. I'm looking to push my maxes as far as I can until then. Suggestions on how to do so? I'm thinking a 5X5 right now.

Will also take any advice relating to PL comps.
Need a bit of change for sups? This is what I use, and its totally legit.

Stickies at the top will help. if its your first meet and you are a relative newb to the powerliftts just:
    A) Make sure your lifts will pass in a meet
    B) Train as normal
    C) Rest before the meet

complex periodization and peaking will be more headache than its worth.

Yes. If I was you every non-warmup bench from here to meet day would be paused. Before my 2nd competition I did nothing but pauses for 7 months, but I don't think you (or anyone else) need to go that crazy. Try to find someone who has competed before to watch you lift, or tape your lifts and put them on youtube. It sucks but every meet I go to at least a few people bomb out from having no idea wtf they are doing

What kind of difference in max will there be from pause bench to touch and go?

Depends how good you are at staying tight and how explosive you are out of the bottom.

I don't train paused until a couple weeks out. And usually my paused is 10-15 lbs lighter than my TnG.
