Its been a while misc...
Got fired for eating on several occasions twix and redbulls from the company ( hospitality) whilst on duty.
They got me from evidence through *video* they said.
Either I resing with immediate effect or else they contact the police.
Probably the total amount of things taken would be around $60 in a span of three months.
Been working for almost a year there and due to a different country cause i moved for my girflriend i didnt know what to do so i resigned in fear.
Im so stupid, I have money to live for 5 months, time to look for another job....

How am I going to break this down to my girflirend and her parents,
I have no idea how this will turn out.
Worst case I lose my loving girlfriend and end up in the streets.
I guess in those brief moments Marcus Auerelius really strikes in knowing that I knew already the risks in doing what I did, so technically its all my wrongdoing and 100% accept the concequences~ The Legion of Good Samaritans ~

You should just find a company that gives free stuff for working there. I worked at a movie theater and I was given all the free movies I wanted (plus popcorn & soda), which is a huge perk if you like movies and have to work minimum wage. Or I'd try a theme park like Disneyland and get free park admission for working there.
I bought 24 pack of 12 ounce redbulls for $20 on Craigslist. Probably from a guy who stole them directly from work because he had like 10 pallets and they all had the Red Bull Santa Monica HQ address labeled on them. These are the big cans that ring up at $4-5 at the cash register. I bought them at like less than a dollar each and didn't have to settle for Monster Energy. Only catch was they were expired the month I bought them, but they still taste fine and expired energy drink isn't going to kill me.
Seriously though feel the company should just sell the employees their snacks at huge discounts like near company costs to deter stealing and causing them to fire employees. Or just give a few free Red Bulls or candy bars to reward employees, it'd probably be a low cost way to keep employee moral on the positive side if a raise isn't an option. Especially if it's hospitality, how are the other employees going to be upbeat and caring if they know someone just got fired?
If I ever owned a company where I could give away free stuff at low cost, I would do it so employees would have higher moral and would less likely to try screw me over. I guess $60 worth of stuff is pushing it though, they may have let it go if it was like a red bull or twix every other week. But did they give you any work perks like free use of whatever this business does?Last edited by JetFalcon; 12-15-2015 at 11:55 AM.
