The food is the best in the armed forces, Good food is essential for morale. Morale is vital if you dont see daylight for 3 months. I once ate lobster while on board, you wont get that in the army!Originally Posted by Gollum

They are not allowed to tell us how deep we went, but as an engineer i know how deep we can go, and how deep for the bulkheads to scream.

What model submarines does the Royal Navy use, i'm assuming they're nuclear power, not diesal? Do you serve on Ballistic Missile subs or attack subs?

I am a marine engineer. I work on the boats nuclear reactor, power supply, water production, air purification. Everything and anything. one day i can be overhauling the engines, the next day changing a door hinge.Originally Posted by jiza101
