How much meat is too much meat?

In order to get 140g of protein a day [going by the 1g/1lb of body weight rule), I'd need to eat about 28oz of fish/chicken a day. That's 1.75lbs, which seems like a lot. I'm concerned that all that meat would be bad for my digestive system or whatnot. Is 1.75 lbs of meat a day too much? If so, how do you recommend I get the rest of my protein?

What kind of Chicken are you eating? the protein doesnt add up. Chicken breats boast 8 grams of protein per oz. a half pound piece of chicken gets you 64g of protein mixed in with a side dish you can easily get more than half your daily protein from one meal.

You dont need to get ALL your protein from meat.

Dairy eggs, and other stuff are high in protein as well.

Chicken breast should be about 20g protein / 100g raw weight.

Protein becomes too high when you don't have room within your caloric intake to consume adequate fats.

Dairy, powders, nuts, beans, oats, bread... the list goes on & on. It all counts.

Wow my bad haha, it's actually 24g/4oz (going by just some standard Tyson chicken breast we have in the house.) So that's about 1.5lb of chicken.

I'll take the advice on mixing nuts and beans into my diet, thanks for that.
