im guna add in a couple sets of pullups and maybe a couple sets curls for the girlz, to compensate will have 1 day where im not squatting quite to max and maybe doing a few more reps.
i dont really see how i can fail to get stronger as i havnt squatted more than twice a week at any time in my lifting career.

No rows in Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength.
What are your stats?
If you are seriously considering the routine then at least read the wiki, but preferably buy the book, since it explains a lot of the programming.
There are actually a lot of different templates to follow, not just the standard squat/bench/deadlift on day A and squat/press/cleans on day B.

ill alternate pulls/chins. i might do box squats speed work on one of the days, dont know if ill handle 3 heavy squat sessions a week.
fyi, i squat about 250 for 3-4 sets of 5.
my deadlift is about 375 lbs for 1
and my bench is in the low 200's, around 210 for 1 ;(
ive read the wiki but im not guna buy the bookLast edited by WIDGE_uk; 01-26-2010 at 09:41 AM.

No point in alternative pull ups with chin ups. Just do one and get much better at it.
Speed box squats aren't, to my knowledge, in any of the templates outlined in Starting Strength or Practical Programming (1st edition).
You won't know if you can handle 3 heavy squat sessions per week until you try it. I was handling it fine when my squat was ~25lbs greater than yours for three sets of five. My deadlift was a wee bit less - ~20lbs? about that, a few pounds here and there aren't significant - and as was my bench, but the squats were manageable. If they're not, then the first option would be to simply make the second session (usually done on Wednesdays) a light squat session, or do front squats.
Then, you could only do deadlifts once per week if that gets too much, usually on the light squat day.
That's not too dissimilar to the Texas Method. Read the wiki, it really will help.
