    Lift Leg Higher

    Is there a specific exercise or muscle group I must target I hardly can lift my lef og the ground without feeling strain on muscles. I dunno how thoose karate people can lift legs so high. Is there a way I can improve to lift leg higher without bending it.

    Or is it a genetic thing?

    Try doing some dynamic stretching before your workout. Things like lunges, split squats, and leg swings. You need better mobility in your hip flexors from what you described.
