What are you Old Bass Turds doing for New Years Eve?

Absolutely sweet fuk all for me.

January 1st is the opening of Trout season, so I will be in the fart sack by 9 or 10 pm and out of the fart sack by 4 am so I can be on the ice at the crack of dawn. So I won't be seeing the bell drop or whatever else happens when I am sawing logs. This has been the tradition for me for as long as I can remember. New Years eve has never been anything that interested me in the least, it's always been about the next day.

How about you old fukkers, getting your party on or what? If Covid has dampened your Tradition, what would you normally do Non Covid era?

We put out snack trays for the kids. Usually don’t stay up but might wake up to see the ball drop…

Probably watch movies with the bride and play video games with the kids. I’d watch football too if I had the opportunity.

The last several years, now that our kids are older we typically play games and eat pizza etc. on NYE. Probably play a variety of board, card, and Nintendo Switch games. We don't usually make to midnight though, which is just fine with me.

Have fun fishing Pockets! I'm sure I'll share a whiskey or two with my kids - my wife will be in bed long before. We'll probably play some video games and halfheartedly acknowledge the arrival of the new year. That said, I will take some time to write down some health and personal goals for the year on Friday/Saturday. I think I hit almost all of my goals this year so despite the stressors it's been a good one!

We go out to dinner with the gf's parents( they are bored with eachother) then after about 2 hours we decide which bars/friends to visit.
It is pretty chill.

get woken up at midnight and cursing the young buck neighbors for shooting guns and stuff at midnight. I live in a mexican neighborhood so no matter what holiday there will be gun fire and fireworks at all hours. Not complaining but its a fact.
