i would imagine to someone who would criticize that short clip (and keyboard warriors), the seemingly amateurish stuff is:
1) he's not using wraps or gloves
2) doesn't seem like he was planting his feet and throwing his body weight into the punches
3) hands were low and kind of just wailing (does kind of look like he is just messing around) <-- also need to keep in mind that bruce lee wasn't a western style boxer and tended to keep his hands a little lower
now, the bag is swinging around like crazy, and he is keeping it up in mid-air, but there's no way of telling how heavy or light that bag actually is.
either way, i'd be hard pressed to willingly take all those punches to my face. and i'm always amazed at any clip or picture that shows the lat flex. it's like he's going to effing fly away lol

LOL he was working his punching power on the bag. It was an exercise... he wasn't actually working on technique. YES read plenty about how he worked out. Solid beast punches...serious power in those hands.
Mirin'triceps peak? Thanks westside barbell.
Gettin'older, studying MMA in Brazil gonna fight soon, on my own crew.

the quick version, and I'm not judging him or anything
no headmovement
hands too low
no real footwork either, when they bag moves he didnt move to keep the distance he wanted he struck the bag at a different angle to make it swing a different direction
that works on a lite soft bag that dosn't hit back but isn't so good against an opponent
but you can look at what he's wearing and the no gloves etc and be fairly sure he's not 'training' right there
so any critiquting is really pointless
but I put in what I did so when YOU work the bag you can benefit from this thread a bit
(Lord knows no one else will lol)
