They are incapable of beating good teams anymore
0-1 vs Pacers
0-2 vs Blazers
0-3 vs Thunder
0-2 vs Rockets
1-1 vs Clippers
2-0 vs Warriors (The ultimate pretenders in the west / Only team the Spurs beat / Warriors even worse record against these teams)
This time last year vs the same teams
2-0 vs Pacers
1-1 vs Thunder
0-2 vs Clippers
1-1 vs Blazers
3-0 vs Rockets
1-0 vs Warriors
That is 8/12 against those teams last year compared to 3/12 this year
Who are they gonna beat in the west?

Dead clock is right twice a day. They'll eventually be right. Im just not counting them out until its over. Just like everyone was counting out the heat halfway through the season when they went through a slight slump, then they hit a 27 game win streak. If a team is proven year in and year out, you don't count them out until its over

i know you're mocking the heat fans, but for the spurs that could be considered true. pop spreads the minutes around well and makes sure to preserve his players, especially the older ones. leonard getting hurt isn't gonna help their cause this season. spurs need to enter the playoffs with some momentum, and they'll be alright.

Lol I'll gladly have the Blazers play them. MusicalHam and I have been saying this for like two months now, they haven't beaten one real team yet.
I'd rather play the Spurs in the 1st round than the Suns/Rockets (dead srs, both teams are inconsistently really good, it'd be a gamble). Spurs are just consistently average, that's why the lose to all good teams by a few points.Trading/Investing Thread Crew

The beauty of the Spurs is that they are a 7-game series team, they are so methodical and just wear teams down. Yeah they be might losing to other good teams so far this season, but come playoffs nobody, and I mean NOBODY, wants to play the Spurs.
Oh and they are the best road team in the NBA. Winning on the road goes a LONG way in the playoffs.Boston

I'm scared of the Suns. Last time the Blazers played them, they played their greatest game ever, I'd imagine it was similar to their game yesterday when the stomped the Pacers. Suns are streaky as fuk, but they can light teams up. Especially when they have that Dragic/Bledsoe train running.

Lol@ thinking that the regular season means anything to a team that just made (and only barely lost) the finals.
They have a system and a team that works. All they have to do is make sure no one gets injured, run through certain matchups & secure a decent seed for post season... the same goes for Miami.. they dont give 1 single fck about topping the division and nor should they.
Playoffs will be really interesting this year.I make electronic music ---> www.soundcloud.com/damagecontrolmusic
