I'm looking for something of good VALUE for ectos.... something that will do the job but something thats not 50$ for a 8 pound tub.
N large 2 i heard was good.... but its $40 for 10lbs...
I was wondering about "serious mass" by optimum nutrition. its $30 for a 12lbs tub.
I'm not a complete ecto just starting out... i'm into my second year of lifting and i'm just looking for something to pack on an extra 10 pounds. I'm gonna combine this weight gainer with a stack of Optimum nutrition creatine monohydrate (creapure) and ON 100% whey.
What do u guys think?

If you want to go cheap, and not too shabby, i like vitamin worlds generic precision engineering weight gainer. About 50 grams of protein about 12% carbs per serving. It is cheap, and you can get 2 tubs for about 40-50 dollars.
Just my opinion. It has worked for me.Moderator @ another place.

40 dollars for 10 lbs is a good ass deal
look at Serious Mass's serving size, 2 scoops....2 monster ass scoops, if i remember correctly 334 grams/serving? N Large is 152 grams/serving I think, hence Serious Mass as 1250 calories, its servings are twice as big as N Large"Live like a bad son of a bitch and let's play some ball"

the protein shake used is ONs pro complex. that will give you a guideline you can still add more for more calories. (thats my breakfast) also its all low Glycemic carbs except for the banana, and milk. also give me a rep point for writing all that out lol.1 year out!

BODYBUILDING'S TOP FIVE FACTORS IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE
1) Attitude - Think big to become big.
2) Nutrition - You can't build anything without raw materials.
3) Routine - Work hard, but smart.
4) Recovery - Muscles grow in bed, not in the gym.
