Who would win - a big well trained pitbull (60-80 lbs) vs a 80-120 lb wolf??

I'm trying to keep the weights somewhat close because it would be absurd to put a 180 lb Timberwolf vs a 45 lb APBT

Anyways, I do think the pitbull would win. Wolves are pack hunters. They are shy and generally run far away from any real threats

You get a 70 LB pit who is very well trained and he will be incredibly ferocious. They will fight to the death while the wolf will stop after the first sign of pain... It's like putting a big knockout heavy weight who has absolutely zero endurance against another pretty decent knockout heavy weight with insane endurance

Pitbulls killing little animals like cats, smaller dogs, and human babies doesn't mean chit against wolfs. Wolves are raw as fuk cuz. Theres only a handful of dog breeds that can take on a grey wolf 1v1. And pitbulls aint one of them. Also timber wolves are the apex canines.

Was thinking of that exact same incident. lol @ me for thinking that a trained pit could take on a lion when it couldn't even handle a slightly bigger coyote. A full grown wolf would absolutely wreck a pit.

There's a video in Russia a guy puts his pitbull into the cage with a wolf and the wolf wants nothing to do with the pit. The pit is totally fearless and keeps going after the wolf. They'll fight a fukking grizzly bear

The ability for killing goes to wolf. The desire to do it is the issue, a pit is a risky target because it bites back. I have seen a wolf run down a large coyote, kill it, eat its body completely and leave its head in the middle of a frozen lake, face up and untouched like a fukkin head on a pike.
