Expecting the average muslim to act in absolute accordance with their fictional book is.....daft. And yes, i extend the same courtesy to those in similar situations - i.e. Christians, Jews, and others. I can separate the people from the religion (which, i actually don't like, at all). If you weren't a moron of grand proportions, you would realize that to many, religion is more of an identity and a cultural system than anything else.

I guess I tend to stick up for the underdog, and in R&P, Muslims, as well as liberals, gays and blacks are definitely the underdog.
That is, if you consider pointing out inaccuracies or outright lies about a group of people as "sticking up" for them.
TBH, if I'm sticking up for anything it's the truth, rather than the people who are being lied about.
