I'm the say way brah and a student. I work from 8-5 and get home at 6 and have to study. I only lifted for 30 min last night.

I usually get up at 4 am, take a run to wake myself up, lift in my home gym until 6am, take shower, breakfast, then head to work. Go to bed at 9pm.

Up at 4:15am every day. Lifting by 5. Gotta be to work by 7 and have a 20+ minute drive. Can't believe I haven't done this my whole life. If you want it bad enough you will make the sacrifice. Never slept so good at night either. This video motivated me to start lifting before work. Specifically around 3:15 mark.

This, and if you don't you're going to have a LOT of resentment towards your GF in no time at all. If you two break up, you're going to feel even more like chit that you didn't take care of yourself and your hobbies/lifting when you were with her.

Choose a time and lift. Your GF can find something to do during that time, she's an independent person and should have her own chit to do.

You will get used to it and you will also get tired earlier. I used to always be up til around 10:30-11:00 every night, now by 9:00-9:30 I am dead.

Do you eat before lifting that early? I could do some cardio in the morning before breakfast, but lifting... I feel super low on energy if I haven't eaten (mid-afternoon for me is GOAT).

8-5 executive brah here... Sometimes work later depending on situation. Also have a live in gf.

I work all day then meet my gf at the gym(key is to have a gf that works out too) around 530 then get done at gym around 7. Go home and cook dinner usually eating around 815. Go to bed and bang out. Then we both read our books and go to sleep...

The girl is very important... My girl love cooking and working out and we don't drink at all so our schedule is naturally easy for us to follow. Feels good.

Its all about balance. Make sacrifices to gain time. Manage your time wisely. Cut back on texting/ mobile/TV usage. I work a 50 hour week and manage to lift 90 minutes a day five days a week and have been doing so for years. But I don't have a cell and only basic cable. I get by just fine.

i've gym'd straight from work, able to get home around 630/7 which sometimes is cool w/ her sometimes she gets pissy waiting.

gym @ 5am when it opens is GOAT. Shower get ready for work there - Don't have to get ready in bathroom together (or see her at all lololol)
and home early to do whatever else at 5pm. its the best way hands down
head to starbucks in between lift/work to read and chill

getting more done before 8am than you do all day crew

The wife and I still make time in the evening to disappear for 1 to 1.5 hours after dinner and before bedtimes during the week.

We just lock the kids in their closets with bags of cereal.
