I weight about 185lbs at 6'2. I can do 185 for about 3 reps on my last and heaviest set of bench. Is that considered weak? I see scrawny as fock lifters do 185 no problem.

Consider this: the average person likely cannot bench 185 pounds. Yeah I'm sure you're going to get a lot of people here tell you it's weak because they have been lifting for years and passed 185 a while back, but it's still moving 185 pounds.
but my max is a poverty 195 and it feels weak to me so yeah

This is true. Funny how everyone claims to be able to bench so much but they haven't worked out since HS. Half the population cannot squat with so much as the bar on their back. Deadlift, have you ever seen people trying to pick up a 40lbs bag of dogfood off the bottom shelf?
But that's only inside the squat rack.

i've started doing every chest day with heavy bench, working up to 1rm every time. up to 245lbs, clen form. Hard to determine strength when multiple reps are involved imo. Try finding your 1rm and report back, OP.

Avg joe can barely clear 135, most likely less imo. Probably 95lbs to be honest for a couple reps would be the avg of a avg person. Why I say this, one time my non lifting avg joe friend went to the gym with me. Watched him load up 2x 25's on the bar, rep 3 like a mad man, then gave out and needed a spot on the 4th rep lol. (arms locked up and started quivering like a mofo)

it's not bad. For how long have you been lifting? Some people are just naturally better at it than others.
I've been lifting consistently for 8 months.
when i started i was doing 4x10 110lb. I barbell bench pressed for 3-4 months then stopped and focused more on the dumbbell chest excercises.
A couple days ago i did 3x10 172lb. So if you stalled on your bench press try focusing on your technique. it could help you in the long run.
neutral grip, shoulders back elbows tucked in. This is some of the new things i was suggested for proper form.
Try excercising with dumbells for a month or two then try your bench press to see if it helped you.

Stop giving a fuack what other people think. Do your best, train hard, if you are serious research about training even harder (see bodyrecomposition.com), practice good form.Gains will come.
Stop giving a fuack what other people think and be happy.
And yes, by caring if your benchpress weight is strong or not IS considered giving a fuack about what other people think.I always holla back-surgery
