JAY'S NATIONWIDE VASOTROPIN LOG
I would like to start off with thanking Gaspari and the Gaspari Reps on Bodybuilding.com for giving me the opportunity to try this new product and log my experience with it! I will start off with a little background of myself and what my goals are. I started working out on and off after college. Over the last years or so I have become more and more serious about my training. I have always been an athlete and continue to participate in multiple sports. I have decided this October to compete in my 1st NPC Men's Physique show. At the end of last year I basically did a contest prep without the contest to see where I was at. At 175 pounds I was pretty close to contest shape but felt like at 175 I was too small. Since September of last year I have bulked my way back up while trying to stay at least somewhat lean. I am now 193. The most I have ever weighed is 197 so I am looking at surpassing that before I start my contest prep this August.
Through this log I will experiment with dosage and preworkout meal combinations to see which gives me personally the best results. Also through this log you will see that I travel frequently for work and I am still able to train and keep my diet in check. I am currently useing the FST-7 training protocol. I have found that it works for me and adding intensity techniques give me the best results. If you have any questions let me know and I will be sure to answer. Each training day entry will contain my workout, dosage, preworkout meal, location, and results.

Results: Impressions on my 1st experience with Vasotropin are mixed. Could definitely feel the pump in lower back twords the end but nothing that was astounding. Muscles did feel fuller and look fuller but didn't change vascularity in my arms. Results: Changed carb source for this workout. Felt very similar to the 1st workout of the log. More vascularity than the 1st trial and more noticeably fuller muscles and separation. I will up the dosage tomorrow for leg day and see if it makes a difference. Results:Went with an even heavier amount of carbs in today's preworkout meal and upped the dosage to 5 tabs. It was leg day. It wasn't the heaviest of days but I hammered it out in 30 minuets. I could definitely feel the pump today in my quads. I don't like eating that large of a preworkout meal because it usually makes me feel very sluggish and that is why i kept the pace up in today's workout. Off to a great start Jay. I have been focusing on having just a carb meal along with a whey shake - sometimes with the addition of carbo lean - I have been able to get around 70-80g carbs along with 40g of protein with out having the "full" feeling during my workout.

Results:Went with a different carb source with the oats for this workout and added the 1 scoop of waxy maize to my protein shake. This workout had the best pumps so far but they seamed to trail off twords the end which I felt was odd since my FST-7 sets are the last thing in the workout. I am going to stay with the same pre-workout meal today but up the waxy maize in the shake. Chest day went well overall but didn't have the strength I normally do.

Results:By far my best results to date in this log and for it to come on a leg day impressed me. The 3 scoops of waxy maize over the 1.5 hours before my work out and more volume seemed to not only get me a big pump but it had no drop off till about an hour post workout. To verify this dosage I will do the same pre workout scheme as I did today. Tomorrow is back so the pump should be even more intense than it was today. It is quite alot of waxy maize. Its 40 grams of carbs per scoop so 3 scoops is 120g plus the 4 scoops of muscle milk which is another 38g of carbs and 64g of protein. 8 grams of the muscle milk is sugar. I am almost done with the two tubs of it that I have and then I am gonna go to one with less sugar in it. none the less it is 158 grams of carbs preworkout. It has worked for me and has gotten me the best pump so far.

Results:Had the same great pump that I did yesterday with legs. Looks like I have found the right carb source for me. Hit the back pretty hard and went through the sets without much rest. Today my upper back I am feeling it...definately feel the tightness when squeezing my shoulder blades together. Tuesday is an off day but I will be back at it on Wednesday with Shoulders. Gonna try 6 tabs with the same pre-workout regime and see how it feels in the shoulders.
Minor note weight is up to 194 yesterday. I won't attribute it to the Vasotropin but it isn't hurting.~Jay Wesson

Yesterday was on off day. This evening I will train shoulders...I am going to use the same preworkout regime as far as food goes and up the dosage to 6. I am making the assumption that it will be my best pump to date as the I am only increasing the dose that has worked with my best preworkout meal so far.
I am slightly surprised that with the amount of Niacin in the product I don't become flush like I have seen with other products. Not sure if it is because of taking it with food or so far out from my actual training.

Results:Good pump today in the shoulders. I think with a little lower BF% (Currently 14-15%) it would probably look as impressive as it feels. With that said I didn't feel much of a difference between the 5 and 6 tab dosages. Even though I feel like I have found what works best for me I will continue to experiment with different carb sources and dosages. You never know...maybe there is a better combo for me than I have found yet. I am going to try and keep the volume up in all my workouts as well.~Jay Wesson

Great log so far, love that you're changing the dosages and carb sources. For you it looks like waxy maize is the way to go.

I have been in Tampa, FL on business so have not been able to lift but still did body weight exercises and cardio. Been a long week. I was in Toronto on business since Monday and had limited time but I did get two workouts in. Shoulders one day and arms another. Even though I travel alot for work I always try to make at least some time to train and even in Canada I took my Vasotropin with me.

Results:Seems like the longer I am taking Vaso the better the pumps get. At this point it seems for me at least the timing and macros of my preworkout don't show as much of a differential as they did in the beginning. Results:Even on leg day I still felt the fullness in the muscles. My lower back was pumped by the end of the last set. I have also noticed more significant cases of DOMS. Not sure if anyone else has felt this. Would be glad to hear other people's thoughts...~Jay Wesson
