    Weight gain per week (First Bulk)

    I just finished my first week bulking for the first time ever. I'm currently 180lbs and 6'3", I gained about 2lbs in the first week.

    I'm just looking for advice as to what is a good weight gain to shoot for per week. I'm not scared of gaining a bit of fat but I want to limit it as much as I can.

    I'm currently 180lbs and 6'3", I gained about 2lbs in the first week, also I ate at maintainence for two weeks before starting this bulk, because I was coming off a cut, and didn't gain any weight during that, so that 2lbs has come in one week.

    I'm lifting 3 days a week on SS. Macros are 230g PRO, 100g FAT, 345g CARB, 3200cals. This is 10% over maintainence per day.

    I just aim at a lb of week. Sure some of it is fat, but oh well, the point of a bulk is to enjoy food and gain some muscle. I find that if I put on a little fat in the process ( 15 % or so total bodyfat), it's worth it to eat a little more and then extend a cut 2-3 weeks to take off excess fat. I also have a finance and it doesn't matter to me if I can see a 6 pack whatsoever when I am not competing, faint ab lines are fine with me, each their own.
