See this all over my FB newsfeed:
Nah. It's not because we "forgot" about this guy or because he wasn't "famous", we know there was someone else who died with Paul: he just didn't have an impact on our lives like Paul did...
...We had an emotional connection with Paul Walker and he inspired us. We grew up watching him and had a detatched feeling of "knowing" him and he was a role model to us. It feels like, to us, we lost a good friend of ours.
There's a difference.
If a random guy you didn't know died, you wouldn't think much of it. That happens daily, actually. But if a friend of yours died, you would feel sad and mourn them. Why? You know them. You have an emotional connection to them. They've impacted your life. They may have inspired you or were a role model to you. Same deal here.

I seriously hope you're trolling, 99% of people didn't even know paul walkers name before he died. He was the "fast and furious guy". Your daddy must have walked out on you for you to have a "connection" with a b list celebrity who impacted your life by driving fast cars in a movie. Strong male role models in your life

Lol @ saying that paul walker was a role model. He was just an actor in a street racing themed rip off of Point Break....

This. WTF? To me Paul Walker dying was sad, I liked his movies they were good popcorn flicks and I felt for his family a bit. But here is the thing, people like him die every fkin day, if you dont know them on a personal level u shouldnt be expected to give/care so much. Thats part of the reason why I dont get the candle walks and chit people do for randoms they dont know about but because this particular instance got highlighted by the media time to light a candle and pretend to give a fk. I would care a lot if he was my role model sure. But Paul Walker was a B-List actor at BEST, his charitable work was role model worthy sure but there are many more people that do such charity work and do other better things those are my role models... I dont understand how u can have him as ur role model
