Does anyone else give themselves rewards for reaching weight loss goals? I just reached my "new dead-lifting socks" goal/reward. I find it super fun and I was wondering if others do this and/or what kinds of rewards you give yourself.

I don't give myself rewards. Rather, hitting goals inspires me to make and hit more goals. I get enough satisfaction out of accomplishment that I don't tend to give myself other rewards such as shopping or treats or whatever.
With that said, I have seen where people who are on a tight budget allow themselves a new workout clothing piece, or a massage, or pedicure (or something else indulgent) for hitting a big milestone (like 30lbs lost or something). I think that's an awesome way to give yourself a pat on the back for accomplishing something you've been working toward for a long time.
Makes me think maybe I should schedule a massage as a reward for.... well, for lifting___________________________________________________________

Yeah...I'll reward my weight loss with a big plate of nachos during a UFC PPV event. LOL. That will usually then cause me to gain about 3 lbs. Eventually I'll lose the weight before the next UFC PPV and another plate of nachos. It honestly is a vicious cycle. LOL
But seriously, I don't really rewards myself for weight loss cause I've been pretty much maintaining a specific range for the last few years. But I do like to reward myself in regards to this hobby in general. And in most cases it is just an aspect of progression. I'm getting more into body weight exercises so I decided to get myself some Christmas gifts...new home gym flooring, a Jiu Jitsu mat and a pole. I also plan on taking it to the next level once Spring hits and I can get a contractor to turn my one yard into a body weight play ground with parallel bars and a few pull up bars at different heights. May also include monkey bars cause they are a blast.Workout Log / Chat thread...Embrace the Dragon: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169711903
