I don't think lofty goals are necessarily a bad thing. I actually have very similar goals (ultimate goals, that is). Nothing wrong with a 1700 or even 2000+ goal (mine is definitely over 2k) but don't set your FIRST goal to 1700 (which this log title definitely does make it out to sound like). For instance my more immediate goal is 1k club, which is wayyy closer to being achieved currently.
Gym best lifts
Squat - 370 lb x 1 rep Strict OHP - 150 lb x 4 rep
Bench Press - 270 lb x 1 rep Deadlift - 340 lb x 3 rep

Ah to be young again. My point is/was don't get fixated on 165, you don't look like you are carrying much extra weight and want to lose 10 lbs. while adding 600+ lbs. to your total. 600 pounds on your total is going to require at least 10-15 lbs. of muscle so you are talking about losing 25ish lbs. Have you done any research on the top guys in those classes? Figured out how tall they are, how they're built, etc?

haha I wish i could stay 20. When that photo was taken I was something around 152-155 now currently at 175 and a little fatty. My guess would be im around 14-18% bf. The most recent IPF jr 163 winner was a guy named Josh hancott He says he walks around at 170-172ish and is 5'6''
Here's a video of him, he's a beast.
theres some more motivation for me.
