The investigation was part of a cross-border operation involving Canadian law enforcement agencies, the FBI and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The two accused are Chiheb Esseghaier, 30, of Montreal and Raed Jaser, 35, from Toronto. They have been charged with conspiracy to carry out a terrorist attack and "conspiring to murder persons unknown for the benefit of, at the direction of, or in association with a terrorist group."

Fucking terrorist pieces of shit, we have been extremely lucky so far in Canada for not getting hit by these savage fucks. Hopefully it stays that ways. Always support the US in their fight against terror assholes.

Cliffs:
-Well the federal government didn't want Quebec to split.
-They were aware that there was some ''radical'' elements in there (maybe 15-20 stupid university students that decided to use violence)
-Let's treat it like we did with the communist to make them all look bad. So the RCMP worked not necessarily to bust them but to make it seen that they were a huge organization.
-Undercover RCMP were part of the movement and facilitated certain illegal activities (robberies, etc)
-When one of the dude got kidnapped, the RCMP knew exactly where he was but did nothing, this way it would make the entire last longer.

At some point there was a meeting between the FLQ and the black panthers. It would go down either in a kitchen (that was wiretap) or a barn (could not be wire tap on time). The RCMP decided to burn down that barn.

I'm not saying that the FLQ wasn't a terrorist organization, but the RCMP helped making it a bigger deal to make the separatist movement look bad (srs).
