what is the best macro ratio i can use to give me a good recommended balance of macro-nutrients i have been told to go with 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% fat.
i was thinking is having the same amount of protein as same amount of carbs abit incorrect?
my goal is to bulk up, muscle size and strength my maintenance is 2893 and i am maintaining 500cal surplus at 3393 cals to gain weight.

Avoid ratios as they do not account for physiological sufficiency.
