I wouldn't say I'm rich but I do well enough where I'm not getting kicked out of anywhere (thank Science). That being said I've been doing stuff for shelters throughout the pandemic and the sheer magnitude of people who are out of a home already is pretty wild. Hoping Biden has a good plan...

There are laws about evictions and such, which were signed on the lease. What Biden did, was effectively nationalize people's properties.
Yes, there are some people who are flat out not paying rent. Even bragging about it. However, those with IQ's higher than room tempreture knew this wasn't rent forgiveness, and that their credit would be screwed, so they have been paying. But, thanks the the leeches, landlords are going to be nervious about renting property. There will probably be less rentals down the road because I'm sure a lot of them are going to be selling and taking advantage of the market. It's going to make rent go up even more as there will be less avialable to rent.
All I have to say is they better get used to homeless shelters because soon they will be evicted, with back rent on their credit, no payment on their credit, and less places available to rent.

This would have been over earlier had Kavanaugh done his job properly because "it will end soon anyways".
Imo private landlords will stop renting themselves and cash out by selling their properties to large realty companies like Blackrock. It would not surprise me if this was part of a plan to increase property ownership by these big companies.

While I agree that congress probably shouldn't be able to enact something like this, either . . . the immediate point is that the CDC certainly cannot deem this to be true unilaterally.
So it's up to the legislative branch to take this up. And then if they pass a law that is signed, the SCOTUS can then rule on the constitutionality of that law.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

There’s BILLIONS set aside to help renters and landlords. The issue is the paperwork isn’t being processed due to bottlenecks. Apparently the current systems can’t handle the request. Biden admin removed a lot of paperwork requirements now that the courts dismissed the moratorium. I’m interested to see what happens from this.
I completely agree with you that landlords have been getting fukked since the beginning.

So unfortunately it's not that easy for some.
Crippling mental illness, physical disabilities, a lack of a phone for call backs, a record, a total lack of computer literacy, no nice clothes for an interview, gap in employment there's a lot of stuff.
It can be done though, people do it, but some need help.No war but class war

"Do you think SHE actually felt like that was a sexual thing he was doing? She's like 6. Only an actual p3do would think that she thought he was groping her, too."
"Not that it's impossible to touch a minor inappropriately, but it is true that a 6 year old girl will not recognize someone putting a hand on their chest as groping, whether it is inappropriate or not."

Not so much anymore. This will absolutley impact the housing market. Not crash it but likely push prices down from the stupid levels they're at now.
I would not want to buy a house in the next 6 months. I'd wait until this shakes out if I could.
In fact, I'll be looking to buy a vacation place March/April of 22.Early AM workout crew.
Holy crap dude, Satan's huge crew.
