I dont go out because i dont find it fun. Stand around talk to worthless drunk retards. No thanks. There is a sick Dateline NBC on and i have a ton of greek yogurt and beef to slam.Cliffs:Yep...that's adulthood.
Use to party like a ****ing Kennedy. Many occasions lying in bed at 5am so ****ed up talking to my heart and saying, "please don't stop ticking".
And then age happened. And that **** just didn't seem like that much fun anymore. I look back on it with fondness because there was a **** ton of fun going on.
But one day you grow up and you remember the fun...you just can't for the life of you remember WHY you thought it was fun.
Next thing you know you're talking about drapes and floor rugs with some chick...and staying home on Fridays to watch Sleepless in Seattle
-Party it up till early twenties
-Life hits you hard
-No longer find enjoyment in drinking and feeling like **** every weekend
-Achieve enlightenment.

i might not enjoy drinkin every night, or even every weekend... but im sure as hell not going to talk about floor rugs and stay home watching sleepless in seattle.... id rather be out doing something fun with all the money i saved by not drinking that weekend.."Start kicking ass, and take out the crap that doesn’t matter. Start doing and believing in the stuff that works, and do it today and forever. You want science and studies? **** you, I’ve got scars and blood and vomit. This is a call to arms for some of you. It is for me too. Stop all the things that make you a pussy and steal your energy. Get your life back”. – Jim Wendler

Sounds scary but gives me relief at the same time breh. Thankfully ive come to the realization at a fairly young age that partying it up gives you such minor enjoyment and fun, opposed to working hard, and earning something..THATS the real enjoyment/fun out of life. Still working on my life, but it feels good to know that some brehs like to stay into also with their girl and just watch scary movies

I am 26 and have been feeling like that for a while now. It's been a few months since the last time I really went out clubbing or had bottle service somewhere. I am kind of over it, not to mention hella expensive.
I did get my drink on last night watching the Giants win, but that was a special occasion.

I know that feel.
now that I have a wife/kid, I don't really have the time to drink on weekends like I used to. For the first time in months (or maybe over a year), I drank on both a Friday and a Saturday night recently and felt HORRIBLE for the next two days. Used to not phase me one bit. Then thinking about the bar tab from just one night was a couple hundred bucks & how I would have rather spent that on something useful for myself or something for my son.. just seems like a waste to me.
I used to drink like a retard though, would easily kill 30+ beers in a weekend, and became 270+ because of it.

Been there done that. Was off the sauce for almost a year and recently broke up with my girlfriend. Hit the bottle and cigarettes hard for a month and there was hell to pay.
When you bang enough bar sluts, drink enough booze and use enough drugs or tobacco, you just kinda get over it. I just literally don't give a **** about getting blasted anymore.Cashflow is King

not that old, but i know this feel somewhat. i prefer to cook and hang out with friends than go out to bars/clubs/parties. me and my lady hang out and find other things to do. we usually find cooking ideas that take up a fair amount of time in preparation and then we get to eat our delicious product

I went from getting trashed every weekend to maybe once every two months or so. I actually enjoy waking up with no hangovers and hitting the gym. I still enjoy it but prefer spending the 100+ bucks on home improvement project instead of at the bar.

Very true. It usually takes a special occasion such as a Christmas party or wedding reception to make it happen now. It's not a bad thing necessarily, it just means everyone is growing up and make more responsible decisions. Not to mention the women in our lives that eat up our time and money!

Ive never had alot of friends (even though I was decently popular, certainly not a FA nerd type) but Ive never gone through a phase of partying, Dad is chief of police and is so much against any of that stuff ive just never bothered to drink/smoke any of that **** so ive passed that hump early (of course of not one of those people who acts high and mighty about not drinking/smoking or **** either, those people annoy me-_-)

It's pretty damn true. I don't care about going out anymore, now I just want to take the family to the zoo, the Grand Canyon, fix up the house, etc.
It also led me to believe that our only goal in life should be setting up our children to be more successful than we are.★ cVc ★ 15R ★ OIF - OEF ★
