I'm really not sure why I self destruct but it happens every time. I'm financially be struggling to make it and can sometimes barely afford to buy food. I was able to do a little food shopping this week and got some supplies and will get back on track. It's not so much eating poorly but my meal timing is way off. Then I get to thinking of other people who have it way worse than I do and think to myself, There really is no excuse and a true champion and ambassador to health and fitness is going to find a way to achieve any goal. So enough complain from me, and time to get back to logging and getting my nutrition in like I started and finish this like I know I can. Morning cardio here I come. Keep moving forward!

I am one who can tell you that the process and what life throws at us is difficult. However, take a extra day to refocus your mind and spirit...nothing you can achieve what you will. I am someone how has done this often and like you..done the challenge multiple times. It takes YEARS to have the body we wish for..but you can gain so much of your life back by just doing the small things! Like you said you got these!!

Totally agree, use this log as a record of your journey, and for the accountability. Dust yourself off, and start again. Don't wait for next week, do it today.

    Iaj 2014

    February 12th, 2014

Good afternoon Juggernauts! I started my day early, trained a client then hit some low intensity cardio, then hit a few more sessions then hit Back and Biceps today. I upped my cardio in the morning and evening 45 mins in the morning and an hour at night. Nutrition is moderately clean feeling lazy about it right now looking to get back on track this week for sure. Allot of changes have ben happening in my life trying to separate myself from the gym and start my own business. So been putting in some crazy hours and my days fluctuate drastically, nothing is consistent right now. So I'm trying to control the things that are within my ability to control and letting everything else go.

Today's IAJ Workout Back and Bicep's!

Dumbbell Bent over Rows: Each set was performed twice, 40'sx15/45'sx15/50'sx15/60'sx10/65'sx10
Lat Pulldown with close/neutral grip: Each set was performed twice, 100x12/120x12/140x12/160x12
Lat Pulldown wide grip: Each set was performed twice, 100x12/120x12/140x12/160x12

Alt Dumbbell Bicep Curls: 3 sets of 20 reps with 15's
Standing straight bar Curls: Each set was performed half wide grip then close grip: 20x30/30x30/40x20/50x20/60x10
Standing Double Front Cable Bicep's Curl: 4 sets of 20 reps with iso holds with 15lbs

Training is going pretty good right now just need to get my nutrition back on line. Measurements are getting smaller, but right where I want them to be. Not to concerned about my weight but starting to get back into the upper 230's again I'm looking forward to changing my profile name to Mongo225. As mongo260 was two years ago and I haven't weighted that much in a long time.

Beast back/bi workout my man. Since i read about your fluctuation in schedule and was concerned about you possibly slowing down due to feeling "worn out" i figured my information from personal page this week would benefit your recovery and keep you going!

With an increase in workout regimen and most of the time a decrease in calories (mostly from carb restriction) I always notice an increase in soreness. Eccentric muscle contraction is what causes the damage to muscle fibers that ultimately helps them grow, but also can cause DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness).

With these tears comes and increase in calcium leaking in the fibers which triggers inflammation which is what causes this delay in soreness.

A recent Japanese study, then reinforced by data provided by Perdue University, found that supplementation of 3.2-3.5 grams of BCAA’s (branched chain amino acids) mixed with 2 grams of taurine 2-3 times per day can help reduce this soreness when taken regularly! **************JOESWAT, THE ORIGINAL JUGGERNAUT*********************
    TIP OF THE DAY!!!!
~ *THE MOST IMPORTANT TIME FOR CARBS TO BE USED IS BEFORE AND AFTER TRAINING*( pre and post)......~ KNOW YOUR TYPE OF CARBS~.... I have noticed some of you juggernauts in here eating the wrong food/CARBS at the wrong times, in order to get the best results from your hard workouts, you need to eat the right carbs(with protein) at the right times, *Carbs that are slow burning(low GI index) are to be used before a weight training session(fuel for working out), and fast burning Carbs(high GI index) are great to use right after weight training,(supplying your cell with nutrients to rebuild fast)....Utilize the appropriate carbs at the appropriate time will enhance your overall fitness results.....
~PRE work out drinks such as; Juggernaut hp, Dagger hp, Pre-fight, SBR, Infinite Force and so on, are designed to enhance your performance in the gym, utilize the right pre-work out drink for your specific sport/goal you have in mind....

....HERE IS A LINK WITH A CHART THAT WILL ASSIST YOU WITH PICKING WHAT YOU NEED....**** NOTE; this does not mean that you can eat junk food, pick healthy foods to accomplish your goal........REMEMBER THIS; JUNK IN WILL ONLY CREATE JUNK OUT....

TO BE A JUGGERNAUT!!!, YOU NEED EAT RIGHT AND TRAIN RIGHT!!! IM HERE IF YOU NEED ME.

That is a very positive attitude to have my friend! And I think that's cool about changing your profile name! Tomorrow is Monday, new week, fresh start...have an awesome week!

I know your pain with the mixed up and hectic schedule. Just keeping your head up and staying positive like you are will help you out more in the long run than you will ever realize. SOmetimes it is hard if not damn near impossible to get in a great workout with days like that, but any work you do is more work than none at all... even if it is running up and down the stairs at your house or apartment for 15 minutes!

For your convenience, here is a list of all the I Am Juggernaut challengers and a link to their logs for your use.

***Remember that one part of the challenge is to see how much a Team player you are. Straight from the Official Rules at www.iamjuggernaut.com:
TEAM WORK: The second most important criteria entrants will be judged on is how much of a team member they show themselves to be during this process. One of the defining characteristic of an Infinite Labs® “team” member is the ability to be supportive. Entrants should work to demonstrate what a great addition to the “team” they will be by being active in other people’s logs and encouraging them. When entrants do so Infinite Labs will get a glimpse into the type of team member they will be. Teamwork is 20% of the score.
