    I am Juggernaut 2014 Log.

    Day 1/background info.

So funny thing is last summer I did a 12 week transformation on my own due to health concerns. Needless to say there was zero competitions going on at the time. So I dropped 62 lbs and 20% body fat several months back. Now I have decided it is time to see what the single digit body fat looks and feels like. After leaving active duty military in August of 2012 I put on some 50 lbs after having a serious asthma attack (from who knows what. Never had a problem before and have not had one since.) 2012 came and went and 2013 saw me married and entering into the second year of my undergraduate studies. With a size 40 waist and weighing near 250 lbs with 33% body fat. Come summer 2013 I felt it was time for a change and made it happen not only physically but mentally as well.

Now weighing around 178 lbs and between 11.5% and 12% body fat I think it is time to take my new lifestyle to the next level and drop 3% or 4% more. So I will be following the diet I did last summer created by BB.com's own Kris Gethin with the exception in the supplement area of taking Infinite Labs Juggernaut HP (Crimson Punch), Grenade, Universal Animal Pak, Natural select Fish oil, Body Fortress Whey protein (chocolate), Scivations Xtend (grape) and Infinite Labs Massport (grape). I will be following Kris's suggested nutrition plan to the T and will be eating every 2 to 3 hrs starting at 7:30 am and ending at 6pm with a protein shake at around 11pm before bed. This way meals work around my work and class schedule.

    Day 1 Legs day

Hit the gym a bit later than I would like but it is a price I pay for driving a sports car after a Winter Storm struck the whole state. Hit up 20 minutes of cardio and finished up my reading of "Humility by Andrew Murrey" and started the book "Humilitas". Then hit some leg press, seated leg curls, standing leg curls, and leg extensions. Before heading home for a protein shake and post workout meal.

Look forward to getting to know some others in the competition and getting different prospectives on training.

Welcome to the IAJ challenge. There are quite a few "prospectives on training" considering how varied the Juggernaut Nation is. Good luck with the single digit bf%.

    Day 2 Chest and Tri.

Gotta love snow storms. Forgot my alarm was set later then normal...Talk about a shocker, but didn't really matter because I had trouble sleeping last night maybe got 1.5 hr to 2 hrs of solid sleep for the 6 to 7 hrs I was in bed. Been feeling sick but I know that is do to the below zero temps and my body adjusting to the new supplement stack. Been a bit hard to keep food down that should pass within the week. Anyway hit the gym hard after the hazardous drive to the gym. Had a mild panic attack when pulling into the lot with a wreck on at the intersection. Thought I was gonna slide into the cop car blocking the intersection.

Anyways hit the cardio hard and burned through a chapter of "Humilitas" it's seems to be a good book so far. After wrapping up cardio hit some flat dumbbell press for 3 set of 10 reps at 60 lbs. Followed that up with incline dumbbell flies for 2 sets of 15 reps at 35 lbs. Then conclude chest with some straight arm dumbbell pullovers for 3 sets 12 reps at 55 lbs decided I should go up to 60lbs on the pullovers.

I opened up triceps with some seated overhead tri extensions for 3 sets of 15 reps at 55lbs also decided that I need to go up to 60 lbs, followed with cable rope extensions for 3 sets of 15 reps at 42.5 (need to work on form at the lower end of the extension) then wrapped the workout up with lying cable tri extensions for 3 sets of 15 reps at 37.5 (failed at 12 on the last set). Overall it was a good workout besides the rope extensions.

Thank you. It is true about the prospectives. But there is on constant I have learned from follow pros, listening to personal trainers and nutrition experts and that is to be consistent.

Hey welcome to the challenge just wanted to stop by introduce my self BRowneyenessa show some love and support and to hope you do awesome in achieving your goal.

    Day 4

Hit the gym hard for back and bi's. Opened with reverse grip pulldowns, Barbell rows then moved into some standing con. curls, alt dumbbell curls and closed with preacher curl machine. Only issue I ran into was wanting to do standing cable curls for a closer but, the cables were occupied. During con. curls I had to stop and ralph a few times. This I believe is a result of eating just before the workout... didn't let it stop me.

Did all this before me and my wife headed off for a night in Chicago for an appointment with united states immigrations.

To make a long story short. It is a headache and a half but it's all part of the journey. Just the office is 3 plus hours away from where we live.

    day 5

Today was an ugly day. First rest day was suppose to do 30 minutes of cardio but, do to the events of the day it was a lazy day. Had to travel home from chicago to where we live. I forgot to pack meals and the room did not have a fridge so i used my cheat day for the way home. Head Mcdonalds egg white and cheese with orange juice for breakfast at 7:30 am then at 1pm I had all you can eat sushi then got home at around 4pm and had Round steak and green beans.

Honestly, feel bad for the day but it was better than not eating and it is only day 5 so I am getting back on track to hit this thing hard in the morning. Now that we are back home for the next 3 weeks ad least.
