Gratitude for the welcome back. Doin it this time with a real bulk and using Juggernaut HP and Creatine MP. Been sick a bit for the last couple weeks so my numbers are down, weight at 188 and bf at 10%, but all that is gonna be changing over the next 12 weeks. Starting my daily calories at 4000 on a 50/35/15 (carb/pro/fat) percentage. It's what I will call a clean bulk (considering my dietary habits have been less than stellar) and weight and performance will be constantly evaluated to see where those macros need to go. In addition to the JHP and CMP, I am also taking Stak by Animal and supplementing my protein intake with 100%whey and 100%casein from ON 'cause I had seriously stocked up on protein in November. Depending on how my calorie count ends up, I may add in something like Infinite Mass after a few weeks.
Anywho, Friday was leg day. Things got shifted a bit this past week because of the holidays and a funeral but starting next week the split goes:
M- Chest/back
T- Legs
W- Shoulders/arms
R- Back/chest
F- Legs
Should anything have to be missed, the remainder of the week can be shifted down so the last workout is on Sat.
As for this past Leg day, Awesome.
Leg Press @ 4 plates x 12, 8 x 12, 12 x 10, and a top set of 16 plates x 6 before a rep set of 14 plates x 10.
Walking Lunges @ 35lb dumbbells x 10 per side, two sets of 40lb dumbbells x 8 per side.
Laying Leg Curls @ 75 x 12, 87.5 x 12, 100 x 9 and 100 x 8.
Deep Hack Squat @ 50 x 12, 100 x 12 and 150 x 9.
Finished with a circuit of Seated Leg Curl/Seated Leg Extension/Seated Calf Raise for three sets @ 90/90/90 x 10/10/12, 100/100/90 x 10/10/10 and 110/110/90 x 8/9/11.
Pic was in yesterday so that'll be my start date. Red Raspberry JHP is on the menu for Monday. Keep rockin out Juggerpeeps!<Heavy Hitters Crew>
Better than the day before.

Gonna have to bring the heat this week. Crazy weather for down here. Rain, wind and temps in the teens for the next couple night shifts. Goin in in a few hours for Chest and Back. Def got the motivation today.
Off to do a little work on the farm and then food prep for tonight before the gym. Then blasting the iron, picking up the offspring and knocking out their homework. Wonder if they will keep calm enough for me to get a nap in?
Keep rockin out Juggerfam!<Heavy Hitters Crew>

Farm work got a bit extended today so got to the gym a little late. Before anyone gives me hell, remember that I'm growing 160,000 chickens and you're probably eating some of them. Still got in a crazy workout, albeit abbreviated, but still with an insane pump. I haven't used JHP in a while as I have been trying out a variety of PWOs and for some reason thought it would be a good idea to jump right in with two scoops. First of all, the bb.com exclusive Red Raspberry tastes a little too good. Reminds me of the classic Lik-a-Stik candy. Anywho, I took my two scoops in my own unorthodox style of just dumping the scoop in my mouth and swishing a little water to wash it down although I enjoyed the taste of the first scoop so much I waited a bit to swish the second scoop. JHP was taken about ten minutes before the workout. My official start weight is 188 lbs at 10% bf, checked twice this week to be sure the readings were consistent. The workout lasted just 55 minutes as follows...
Incline Leverage Chest Press (my new fave exercise) 100 lbs x 12, 150 x 10, 170 x 8, 175 x 7, 200 x 4
Assisted Chins (cause I can't do em without assistance) -100 lbs x 12, -82 x 10, -70 x 10, -58 x 8, -40 x 6
Dumbbell Flat Bench 40s x 12, 50s x 12, 60s x 6, 50s x 10 (last set slowed down and focusing on using chest muscles)
T-Row 70 x 12, 95 x 8, 105 x 7, 115 x6
Incline Dumbbell Flye (all strict and focusing on chest) 30s x 12, 40s x 8, 40s x 8
Overall rating for JHP: 9
Focus: 9
Pump: 9
Taste: 11 (yeah, the red rasp is that good)
Endurance: 8
Bear in mind that I'm still recovering from some sort of psuedo-flu/sinus thing and that probably affected my results. On the other hand, I managed 4 reps at 200 on the leverage press and got only 3 last week. I'll be hitting chest and back again on Friday or Saturday and if the pump is as good or better, I'll try to put up some pics of before and after. Or maybe I'll do that on Wed, for shoulders/arms...
Nutrition data tomorrow since the night shift transition has me a little discombobulated on daytime eating.
Tuesday is LEG DAY!<Heavy Hitters Crew>
Better than the day before.

Glad to see you back. Hopefully 3rd times the charm as they say. Looking forward to following your bulk. Do you have a certain goal in mind? Bodyweight, strength (amount lifted for certain exercises)???

If you want it, make it happen. No one else, but you, can make you make it happen.
Don't "JUST DO IT", give it your all.
Anyone can show up and pick up a dumbell, but not everyone will give it their all.
I don't stop working out when my muscles are sore, I stop when I'm done with my workout.
Todays excuses, won't help you tomorrow.

It always great to be a part of something that you know you're not alone in and this Challenge is perfect I love it ever since I started I have pushed myself even more then when I was doing things alone and I think it has to do with the fact that I feel happy that I found people that think and act like me I feel like I'm home!!.. WElcome and I cant wait to see you achieve your goal just like I can't wait for you to see me achieve mine. Its going to be a lot of fun if you need anything even if it's just a little motivation or encouragement let me know I'm sure I can come up with something! We're team who all want to win and so we shall working together we all can achieve our goals!

Mr. Gordon, you done put on some size sir. I'm gonna try to break into the 200s in the next few months. Trying to get to around 205 and down to 6% or less for the end game but for a short term goal, I'll be happy with 205 and 10-11%. Strengthwise, I'm still hunting for the 1000 lb leg press and pretty much just trying to get stronger all around. And I have to get a haircut.
Today's workout was great, though it had to be completed solo. Took a scoop and a half of JHP ten minutes prior to the workout and a scoop of Creatine MP about 30 min before. Total workout time was 1 hour 10 minutes and pre-workout weight was 190.5 lbs.
Leg Press - 225 x 14, 405 x 12, 585 x 12, 765 x 6 + 2 forced
Lying Leg Curl - 75 x 10, 87.5 x 8, 100 x 8, 100 x 8
Front Smith Squat - 105 x 10, 125 x 10, 145 x 8
Romanian Deadlift - 105 x 10, 155 x 8, 155 x 7
Barbell Walking Lunge - 50 x 10, 60 x 10, 70 x 8
Seated Leg Extension - 70 x 10, 90 x 10, 100 x 8
Superset Standing Calf Raise and Toe Press - 100/150 x 10/10, 100/150 x 10/8
I've been paying more attention to form and hitting full stretch and contraction. It has sacrificed some of the poundages but I feel as though the workouts are much more productive. This was my "heavy" leg day and after the leg presses my quads were near spent. I've also started using some safety gear that I haven't in a while since I haven't been trying to go as heavy the last few months. If you are gonna do heavy leg work, knee wraps and a good belt are a requirement for the top sets on the compound moves.
Nutrition has been pretty good. I prep at least three meals daily at home, add a couple of shakes and generally pick an additional meal from Subway or IHOP depending on whether it's day or night shift.
Night Shift Schedule
6:30pm - wake up
7:00pm - meal 1 (whatever is for supper) and Animal Pak
8:00pm - shift starts
10:00pm - meal 2 - pasta w/meat sauce
1:30am - meal 3 - pasta w/meat sauce
4:30am - meal 4 - IHOP - pancakes and sausage
7:00am - meal 5 - pasta w/meat sauce
8:00am - Creatine MP and Animal Stak
8:30am - JHP
8:45am - Gym time
10:00am - meal 6 - whey shake
10:30am - farm work
12:30pm - meal 7 - whey shake and SLEEP
Wednesday is Shoulders and Arms and Deadbolt will be back in the gym with me.<Heavy Hitters Crew>
Better than the day before.

Yesterday was a long but satisfying day. Started at 6:30pm on 01-07-14 and ended at 10pm on 01-08-14.
6:30pm - wake up and get ready
7:00pm - supper
8:00pm - start shift
10:30pm - meal 2 - pasta w/meat sauce
snacked while running calls for the next while
2:30am - meal 3 - pasta w/meat sauce
4:30am - meal 4 - IHOP pancakes and sausage
7:00am - meal 5 - whey shake (1 1/2 scoops in 8oz 2% milk)
8:00am - Creatine MP and Animal Stak
8:45am - JHP
9:00am - Gym Time
11:00am - back to HQ for uniform resizing and paperwork
1:00pm - Quest bar and whey shake
picked up the kids and then off to the farm till 5:30pm
7:00pm - supper (again ha ha) 4oz chicken and buttered noodles
10:00pm - SLEEP
Gym time was awesome. Shoulders and arms, which turned into mostly arms, for an hour and 45 minutes.
Seated Dumbbell Press - 20s x12, 30s x 12, 40s x 10, 50s x 8, 60s x 6
Smith Upright Rows - 65 x 10, 75 x 9, 85 x 7
Smith Shrug - 105 x 12, 195 x 10, 195 x 9, 205 x 6
EZ Skullcrusher - 45 x 12, 65 x 8, 65 x 7, drop set 75/55/35 x 3/5/7
EZ Curl - wide grip 65 x 10, 75 x 8, narrow grip 85 x 6, 75 x 8
Smith Close Grip Press - 105 x 10, 125 x 4 (not sure what happened there), 115 x 8, 125 x 6
Hammer Curl - 30s x 10, 35 x 8, 35s x 8, 40s x 6
Superset of
Pressdown - 100 x 13, 130 x 11, 150 x 9, reverse grip drop set 90/60 x 7/9
Preacher Machine Curl - 50 x 10, 50 x 10, 70 x 8, single arm drop set 30/20 x 8/5 each arm
Creatine MP seems to be a great creatine. Not the traditional Monohydrate and doesn't give a bloated feeling. Pretty much tasteless, easy to dissolve (though I've just been scooping it into my mouth and chasing it with water).
JHP is awesome. Boots focus and intensity, gives a good and lasting pump and damn this Red Raspberry tastes good.
Keep rockin out Juggernauts!<Heavy Hitters Crew>
Better than the day before.
