Here is a great tip for anyone wanting to "spice up" their logs. This link will show you with a little bit of typing how to add color, bold, or larger size. You can also embed images:
or a link: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/misc.php?do=bbcode
or even a YouTube video, such as our pro Joe SWAT Palumbo training one of our I AM Juggernaut winners, Jan Dy.
There are others, but these are the most popular.

Enjoy!

I Am Juggernaut 2014 Helpful Logging Hints!
Hey Juggernauts, It would seem that the challenge is OFFICIALLY under way! Lot’s of logs and lots of awesome people. Valerie Bishop (RussianLove18) and myself, Ashley Lauing (asheid) have been reading and posting to many logs and noticed that people could use a little help here and there! Because we have so many veterans yet so many exciting new faces, we wanted to give you all a few helpful hints along the way! More are posted every day on our logs! Here’s just a couple of things to get you started on your way to awesomeness!
- Make sure your log title has “Juggernaut 2014” in it somewhere! Remember there are tons of logs from previous years and we’d hate to miss your thinking it was last year’s log!
- Since a lot started creating our logs before Jan 1 remember that the contest didn’t officially start until Jan 1, make sure your “before” pics are on or after Jan 1 (also make sure you have the required pics 1 of you with your paper and one with the date close up on it!)
- Make sure you strive for quality posts, a lot of people will only stop in once a day to check up on you, give them something worth reading!!!
- Check the official rules regularly for helpful reminders on what you need to log about! Workouts, supplements (and their reviews!), diet etc. will all be important! WWW.IAMJUGGERNAUT.COM
- Make sure your posts are all in line with the Juggernaut spirit! Be positive and uplifting to each other (and yourselves! Juggernauts are unstoppable, make sure you approach your day that way as well as your logs and remember that your log may be the only bright part of someone’s day today!)
- The reps and IL athletes are ALL here to help you! If you are unsure, as someone, remember, we were all new to this challenge at one point! The reps have a log just click here --> The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and book mark it for use later!
- If you’re not on our I Am Juggernaut ******** page you are missing out in a big big way! Contact Jordan Foster to get you into the group!
- Make sure you subscribe into the logs you’re really interested in following! Trust me… this will save your sanity when you want to go looking for one of them!
- If you go to your User CP you can add/edit your signature. We highly suggest you add your I Am Juggernaut experience link to your signature. It will make it impossible for people not to find you and your log! Believe me… We want to find your log!
If you are looking for tips on how to give your log a little color, add pics and youtube videos etc click here -->* 2014 I AM Juggernaut Challenge * Ashley Lauing (asheid) I’ve got lots posted and KennKnee added some great tips as well!
If you’re looking for advice on what to log head over to Valerie’s log --> 2014 juggernaut _russianlove18_ and check out her video she made! Lots of tips everywhere!"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure"

A little about me...
Hello all,
Thanks for the comments and support (already). I am excited about this challenge and the opportunity to make some real personal improvements over the next 90 days.
So, a little about me: My name is Jay Raymond. I’m a 42 year old guy from the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. I’m a software program manager for a large tools company. I have been in this line of work since 1989 when I enlisted in the Air Force. There, I got the opportunity (really … the mandate) to work out regularly and stay healthy. When I left the military in 1996, I put aside the regular workouts in favor of a more relaxed pace and life on the road as a software installer and trainer. This was the beginning of my physical decline.
Now, it’s not all gloom and doom. The last two years have represented a period of real change for me, with the last year being the most dramatic. Let me explain... At one point in late 2011, I weighed in at about 310 lbs and was having health issues on a regular basis. I have attached a picture that should cut out about a thousand words. I had basically given up caring about my health. High cholesterol was the biggest issue I had. However, that wasn't even enough to wake me up. Then, I had a blood test that indicated early signs of diabetes. Again, it was not enough to change my viewpoint. I was done caring. It was when I went to Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH (a roller coaster park) with friends, tried to board a ride and they couldn't lock me in because I was obese that I knew it had gone too far. That was the tipping point for me.
I dedicated myself to making small improvements. I made dietary changes, and got serious about exercising regularly once again. I used fitness applications to track my progress and started hitting my goals. When people took notice and encourage me to keep going, it worked. To date, I have lost just over 100 lbs. In the last 15 months, I have run in two Color Runs and a Tough Mudder. People have started to call me an inspiration, including those who I never suspected even noticed. It’s been a real boost to my self-esteem. Now, I can’t imagine going back to where I was ever again. I really want to give back now, by helping others and myself at the same time.
This challenge represents, for me, an opportunity and the motivation to make real changes that will result in the best physical shape of my life. My goals are simple. I want to lose a final 20lbs, get to about 8% body fat (from 16%) and build some upper body strength that I feel like I am lacking. I’m not really sure about competing in any body building events yet. I’m still a little shy about that kind of exposure but… Who knows. Anything is possible, right?!
Thanks for your support so far! Please, let me know if anyone has questions about any of what I've done so far or if you have helpful hints. I know my diet needs work. So, any tips in that area are welcome.

Thanks for sharing you story with us all, I really like that the tipping point was the not being able to ride to coaster not the heal issues. I would have the same mind set as well. This is a great challenge to get you to were you want to be. Remember we are all here to help you out along your 90 day journey. Good Luck!
