January 14th, 2014 Day # 1
So I just took the commitment and signed up for the Juggernaut challenge. I also just ordered Juggernaut HP and Dagger which I plan on staking together and I can't wait for it to arrive. I have always wanted to compete in some type of bodybuilding challenge however have not every fully committed myself. I hope this challenge give me the final push for what I need to compete.
I have always worked hard in the gym, however my shortfall has been my nutrition. I have always eaten clean however not have perfected it to the point to where I could compete. My goal through this challenge is to transform and hopefully get to about 8% bodyfat. This is not going to be easy as my job is that of a police officer and I work nights, so my sleep is not always good and it takes a lot of time to prepare my meals to take to work. My plan is to start off the first week by cutting my calories to 2,200 a day and steadily dropping it toward the end to about 1,700 to achieve my body fat percentage. With the help of these supplement to push myself and the motivation this challenge is going to give me I know I can do it.
So for today at the gym I did deadlifts/back/ and bi's with some HITT cardio and the workout was as followed.
Deadlift: 205x10 for 4 sets
Pull ups: 4 sets to failure
lat pulldowns: 120x 12 for 4 sets
T-Bar rows: 12 reps for 4 sets
bicep curls 10-12 reps for 5 sets
incline dumbbell curls: 10 reps for 4 sets
high-cable curls: 12 reps for 4 sets
Then performed 10 rounds of HITT cardio on the treadmill for intervals of 30 second sprints.
Meals:
# 1 : 1 cup of oats with one tablespoon peanut butter
# 2 : pre and post protein shakes
# 3 : 5 oz. pork and green peppers
# 4 : banana and peanut butter tortilla wrap
# 5 : 5 oz. of top sirloin petite steak and spinach salad
Total: 2,100 calories
I will update soon with the rest of my workouts as this start of the challenge happened to take place in the middle of my workout week.

~ TIP TO GET FIT~.
THE WAY TO GAIN MUSCLE MASS WHILE LOSING BODY FAT AT THE SAME TIME
Perform very brief but high intensity weight lifting workouts with
an additional low intensity calorie burning exercise. It is critical to measure the intensity of the weight lifting workout so they are always increasing. Achieving an increase means your recovering correctly and the fat burning did not interfere with the muscle building efforts. BURN FAT NOT MUSCLE

Day # 2
Day # 2:
Well today was going to be my shoulder workout however life happened so I will have to move shoulders to tomorrow. However that does not mean I took the day off because I don't plan on taking any days off. So today I did 30 minutes of cardio burning 400 calories.
Nutrition for the day:
Oats and peanut butter
Ezekiel bread with a banana
5 oz pork chop with vegetables
Protein shake
5 oz pork with quinoa
cottage cheese with pineapple
I separate my meals out by several hours and the total calories for the day were 2,100
Sorry for the quick post today, running out of time. Between un foreseen events and now going to work

Day # 3 and Day # 4
Well here for the quick update, I am in the middle of my work week which consists of 12 hour shifts, but I still put in the time and effort to fufill my journey.
Day# 3 I did my shoulder workout, I used the shortcut to size my Jim Stoppani for this day. After doing this workout I have decided to start the shortcut to size program, I reviewed it and it looks awesome and felt awesome for shoulders. So on Sunday I will start the program from the beginning.
Day # 4 which is today it was my break from lifting so I did a 30 minute cardio session which consisted of a run.
I took my JHP yesterday when I got it on shoulder day and I must admit I love the stuff.
Meals have been consistent with eating 2,100 calories a day at this point.
I'm looking for advised on how to achieve my goals. I am weighing in at 183 today and at about 14% bf. I want to lower my body fat to about 8% or lower depending on how I look for this competition. However I want to maintain my size, is the best way to do this to cut down to lower body fat and then try to put on mass to get bigger and maintain the bf, this has been the biggest struggle for me. If anyone has any suggestions on how to cut bf and then get bigger while maintaining that bf it would be awesome thank you.

**************JOESWAT, THE ORIGINAL JUGGERNAUT *****************
TIP OF THE DAY!!!
~ THE IMPORTANCE OF BREATHING CORRECTLY ~
Learning to breathe during exercise has benefits such as preventing dizziness during activity, improving athletic performance, and increasing fat burning. Proper breathing during exercises where you exert yourself - such as lifting, pushing, or pulling is imperative. To put it simply: always exhale on exertion. For example, when you are pushing a bench press off your chest, you exhale on the push and inhale as you bring it slowly to your chest. When you are doing a pullup, you exhale on the pulling up motion and inhale on the way down. Breathing during exertion is important in preventing internal injury such as hernia, blood vessel strain, and high blood pressure.* Oxygen + Water = Fat burn. Basically, the body needs water and increased oxygen to burn fat as an energy source. The water intake should be anywhere from a half gallon for women and up to one gallon a day for men, and the increased oxygen consumption will assist with the other part of the equation.......train right, eat right, breathe right...

Day # 6
Day # 6:
Started my program shortcut to size and did chest and tris. I posted the workout in my public dashboard with the sets and reps and weight as I will continue to do with all my workouts. Everyone is welcome to view them if they wish, so I don't bore you in this area.
I used my JHP and even with only 4 hours of sleep because of work, I felt great and still put in awesome work at the gym. I know I am going to be sore but I love the workout and feel great.
This week I will continue to eat 2,100 calories before dropping it to about 1900-2,000 next week. As I have said this is my journey to be able to compete and with the motivation of this contest, and Infinite Labs products I know I will be able to do it.

Lots of police officers in here, feeling safe! Love your back and bi routine. One of my fave back movements is T-bar rows and I'm a pull-up freak too. Great goal to compete. I did in my younger years; not for the faint of heart... Good luck in the challenge!

Awesome work man! Very cool to lose 6 pounds, and you seem to be doing well. It's gotta be tough to do a workout after only 4 hours of sleep! Wow!
