Hi all,
My name is Jen. I am and have been a fitness enthusiast for over two decades. Still fitness started to fall by the waist side when I started school and when my career started to take off. I was accomplishing my goals and doing well overall. Don’t get me wrong, I love my current day job and I am good at it. I travel just about every week and I help people in a different way other than fitness.
The overachiever in me started to worry more about the work then my health. The awakening then started. One day, as it always does, something smacks you in the face and you wake up. I need to change the way I am living.
Awakening #1 - Always tried for an active, outdoorsy woman in her prime - strange.
Awakening #2 - Also, I had gain 10+ lbs and 2 sizes larger, that was my heaviest ever.
Awakening #3 - I was drinking every night and not just one glass of wine or beer or whisky.
That was it, I told myself, “Stop, Balance and Focus!”
While I am a driven/focused person, I was not challenging myself, so looked for challenges out there. The name of this challenge called me JUGGERNAUT – LOVE X-Men, so why not be Ms. Juggernaut. When I set my mind to something I am a force that can’t be stopped.
I plan to bring the balance back to my life, but working out and following workout programs from Bodybuilding.com. Also, finding challenges and activities to keep me moving even on the weekends. Eating clean – staying on the outside of the grocery market. In addition, trying out two Infinite Labs supplements; one the Juggernaut HP and their Joint Support.

Loving all the support. Thanks all.
Today is my rest day and thank god because I walk up sick. I still plan to walk at least for 30 min to stay active. That is, only if my body can hang, I don't want to make it worse for tomorrow - Leg Day!jenleon

Not sure what kind of sick you are, but stay hydrated! If you’re nauseous sick, try to eat a banana 30 minutes before lifting legs. People tend to feel nauseous during leg workouts if their blood sugar is too low or they aren’t hydrated. Keep drinking water between sets as well. Also, don’t go straight into a heavy set. Make sure you get a warm-up in, even if it’s just a couple sets of body weight squats to get the blood flowing in your legs. Hope you feel better!

Love the animated Juggernaut!
Friday's leg day, did not go great, and barely did any cardio. This is because I am still not even at 50%. Still feel a little sick, but felt like I had to push through. While I have to listen to my body, I still don't want an inactive day. Sat and Sun are my rest days and will sleep in a bit to recover, but still plan to at least do some walking. I hope to do at least 10k steps. I will keep you all posted.
BTW: started a bodyblog to stick to my transformation - follow me if you like. There may be a little repeat but not much.jenleon

Ok, I just checked my UPS shipment and I should receive me IL Joint Support today! I am excite to because I have seen great reviews on it. I would love to work out and my knees not hurt.
I am also starting to see what this blog/log should look like. I will do better next week and provide you with more information. Than I did this first time; this is my first challenge and was not sure what all I should write about.
Now I have a better idea:list my workout, my supplements and food intake.
Can do!jenleon

I have never done a challenge either. Unfortunately I can only go on from my phone so I haven't been fancy with my log. Obviously, you see other logs and have a better understanding. The infinite labs reps and athletes Are always there to answer any questions. Of course you have all of the other juggernauts involved in the challenge too. It's exciting you received your supplements. I am excited to hear your reviews and see your workouts!!

I have to try Infinite Force. Everyone seems to be posting great things on it. However, I am new to the whole supplement thing, so can you all help? I am taking BCAA pills by MusclePharm; could I do both?
Thoughts?jenleon

I’ve been drinking BCAAs consistently during workouts for about a year now. I’m finishing up the one I have now and then purchasing the Infinite Force watermelon. All proteins contain small doses of BCAAs, and even more in whey and egg proteins, but I still drink a full serving during each workout to make sure I’m getting them. They’re supposed to prevent fatigue, aid in muscle recovery, and help your muscles get the full effect out of the proteins you consume. I look at it this way… at a minimum, I am staying hydrated and get to drink something that tastes great during a workout. That’s why I like the drinks, but you’ll get the same benefits of the BCAAs from the capsules. I've read that 7-10 grams per day is recommended. Most containers I've read say you can drink these 3 times a day if you want, but the most effective times are directly before, during or right after a workout.

**************JOESWAT, THE ORIGINAL JUGGERNAUT *****************
TIP OF THE DAY!!!
~ THE IMPORTANCE OF BREATHING CORRECTLY ~
Learning to breathe during exercise has benefits such as preventing dizziness during activity, improving athletic performance, and increasing fat burning. Proper breathing during exercises where you exert yourself - such as lifting, pushing, or pulling is imperative. To put it simply: always exhale on exertion. For example, when you are pushing a bench press off your chest, you exhale on the push and inhale as you bring it slowly to your chest. When you are doing a pullup, you exhale on the pulling up motion and inhale on the way down. Breathing during exertion is important in preventing internal injury such as hernia, blood vessel strain, and high blood pressure.* Oxygen + Water = Fat burn. Basically, the body needs water and increased oxygen to burn fat as an energy source. The water intake should be anywhere from a half gallon for women and up to one gallon a day for men, and the increased oxygen consumption will assist with the other part of the equation.......train right, eat right, breathe right...

You could definitely do both Jen. I love Infinite Force, I got the Watermelon hehe. I just use 1 scoop a day and that's in the morning. Each time you take BCAAs you should go with about 5-10 grams. The most critical time to take them is around workouts, so add 5-10 grams to your pre- and/or post-workout shakes.
If your goal is to build mass, also consider taking a dose of BCAAs first thing upon waking to help stop the muscle breakdown that is turned on during your night of fasting while you sleep. You can also take a dose of BCAAs at any other time of day to get a mental energy boost, reduce hunger, and aid muscle growth.--------------------------------------------
