    Counting calories in meat/fish

Whenever I count calories p/c/f in my meat and fish, I weigh it before I cook it, and use the measurement to find the calories. Then when I cook it and weigh it again, it weighs less of course. Should I use the "cooked" meat as the basis for measurement?

If you use cooked weight, you can use cooked nutrition data. Uncooked will often be more accurate however. But either way, just be consistent.

I used to do this... 200g raw chicken is 220 cals and 200g cooked is 330 (grilled according to calorie king.com), I guess this is not a bad thing but if you do this and you are cutting and at the low end of thing and eat say 400g a day then you miss out on 260 casl you could eat and that could put you to deep in a deficit where you don;t wanna be for example.
