    Counting calories in fish oil/sesathin?

    Is this necessary?

    Thanks.

You must count those calories. It is still fat which has 9 calories/gram.
Rep system sucks, we all agree, the only ones who really use it are idiots who think it makes a difference

I understand sesathin is lignan, not a fat though.

Thanks for the clarification about the fish oil tho. i was curious because fish oils helps with fat burning through the PPAR alpha (Sp??) activation or something similar to sesathin so i was unsure.

SesaThin + fish oil will provide less than 100 calories a day, so you don't need to worry too much.

To Pars' point, I think for the "good" calories your concerned about it's worth the results from this combo.

If you're dieting though, 100 kcals seems to make quite a big difference.

Yes, but you know that a calorie isn't just a calorie.

I'd rather have a diet full of oats and protein + healthy fats than one with 100 less calories, but filled with candy, pastries, pop, pizza, fast-food, chocolate, etc...

Over a month, that 100 calories would be close to a lb., so it would not hurt to count them.

But, it is not going to ruin a diet not to, either.

And that's coming from Sixpack. The guy who counts 1 calorie in BSL flavourings and the insignificant calories from xanthan gum.

I personally count everything because the calories from supplements add up. Udo's oil, cod liver oil, Sesathin, lecithin, creatine formula, it adds up to about 450 calories a day for me.

Good point about calories adding up with multiple things.

And, certainly with things like flax, Udo's, SesaLean, Enova, lecithin, etc., where you generally take a fairly large amount, you would want to count.
