    Lactose Free Protein Powder

Im lactose intolerant. Ive been using ON 100% Whey Gold Standard. I enjoy the Rocky Road flavor, but even when I use lactose-free milk to mix my whey and my other supps, I still get bloating and cramps. Does anyone know of a good tasting and well-blended Lactose Free Powder. I know ON puts some lactase into their powder to counter the lactose, but the keyword is some. Its not doing the trick. Thx for any help.

Try using Syntrax Nectar. I'm lactose intolerant and I've had no problems with any of the Nectar flavors. They're also the best tasting protein on the market IMO.

Story of my life. I'm severely lactose intolerant and have spent months figuring out how to work around it. I used to take Lactaid pills with it. What a waste of money! Did some research and found a simple answer: Step away from the ON products. If you just want to fix the problem once and for all, stop using products with any amount of Whey Protein Concentrate in it. Switch to an affordable Whey Protein Isolate. I'm using the cheapest option, which is Now Foods WPI. Doesn't taste too good. There are many better tasting options out there. Search for "WPI" and you shall see.

Yep. Isolates should take care of your lactose issue.

I prefer Substance WPI, but there are many choices. Ergopharm's GF Pro is darn tasty, too.

like two of them said, so I will sum it up:

Isolate is better on the lactose than whey.
Nectar makes kick butt flavors: roadside lemonade, apple, tea

Make sure you get a 100% isolate. Some products claim to be Isolates merely because a portion of the product is isolate. They can also claim it contains "100% isolate" by calling one of the ingredients 100% isolate. Some legit ones are Syntrax Nectar, Isopure, Primaforce Substance WPI, Giant Nutrition I-Pro, AST VP2, NOW Foods isolate...

There are others that are the real deal but these come to mind immediately.

I used to use lactaid pills when I was taking ON 100% whey. This was before I knew about such a thing as Whey Isolate. Now that I don't have to take the pills, it turns out Whey Isolate is saving me money!
