ok so i have been serious about bbing for the past 2 months or so, meaning diet and workingout with a routine, and just recently ive started to hear about how great adding squats and dealifts to the workouts are important to growth..i only have up to 100lbs. to work with at home and not much time to go the gym so i decided to make me a barbell with enough weight to use for squats and dealifts....
first-materials..lol
1. 4-4x4 tires off suv
2. 25lb. barbell bar
3. 4-3lb. weight plates
4. 2- end of bar weight holders///???
now on to the pics...each tire is about 50lbs. give or take a few pounds
the 4-3lb plates were used between each of the two tires to hold them in place since the hole in the middle of the tire was alot bigger than than diameter of the bar.....
the finished project
me getting started with the first lift(hopeing all goes well and i dont pull something on my first 'heavy' deadlift, haha
yay! i did it 225lbs. alright!!
smile~!
Coming Up Next....
How to make ur very own squat rack and bench press supports for your new 225 lb. barbell.
