loading is generally done with 10-20g daily for 2-3 weeks, then a maintenance of 3 weeks with 5g, then 3 weeks off.
I recommend 5g daily for 3 weeks, 3 weeks 2-3g maintenance, 3 weeks off.
Really useful? not that much, not everyone will see great results as a sprinter from creatine. However during max strength training, this may be useful.

It will make you slower if you let it!
Some people have already touched on this.
Creatine will only make you slower if you neglect speed and conditioning training....bulking up with creatine and not running or stretching will of course make you slower...but so will bulking with any supplement.
Stay on course with running and conditioning and the additive of creatine will not make you slower it will only help out.....
Creatine: I would go with a advance creatine (ethyl ester,AKG, etc.) over mono- these creatines show promising results with dosages of only about 3-6g a day. This might be a dumb questions but does the strength gains of creatine ware off a bit after you stop using it. Because while I was on it My power clean sored from like me only doing sets of 3 with 165 to a 1rm of 205 in a lil over 3 weeks of it. In that time span I probably only did PC 2 times. Then after I stopped I dropped back to around 165x3.

you need to be doing maintenance, not just load or whatever then DROP. It's like a PCT kinda.
Maintenance of same period of time you took 5g, use 2-3g for maintenance provided your diet is already high in meat of all sorts. So you take 5g for 3 weeks, maintenance of 3 weeks, off for 3 weeks.
You shouldnt drop back to where you were before, simply for sprinting, you can workout more, and has power benefits.
