WTF is your question. I see a person who has made up his mind to eat the potato chips, but he wants someone to help him not feel guilty, so he posts the "ingredient" list and fails to mention that they are potato chips because he doesnt want someone to talk him out of it /thread. Eat your chips Sibrek we all know you're gonna do it anyway no matter what anyone says.

Wow that was hard. Common sense + Google leads us to the easy answer that potato chips arent a "healthy" snack smart guy. Why am I hostile? Cause you disguise this thread so that you can get some idiot to tell you that potato chips are healthy so you can either:
1. Feel good about yourself or..
2. Use it as a future argument against someone
What I dont understand about you Sibrek is that you seem to be the type of person who WANTS to make the effort but only if the effort is what you think it should be, and you will make yourself believe certain things to convince yourself you're making the efforts necessary. In other words you're afraid of what it really takes.

Wow, that was really thought out. I, however, have a different philosophy when it comes to Sibrek.
He does stuff like this, "Are chips with trans fats o.k." to grab attention, in that we spark an argument with him. He, for some reason or another, likes to irritate people. Which is fine, I really couldn't care about him or his posts, which is usually why I try not to respond to them.
Recently though, he seemed to of made an effort to be a bit more helpful, after his banning that is. Now, all of a sudden he's reverted back to his old, to put it mildly, "trolling" ways."The world will look up and shout save us... And I'll whisper, no."

He could be right, I don't know. I doubt there are many clinical studies on this. For all I know, you won't lose fat but lose muscle as muscle is not as efficient for the body to hold onto and trans fat would not be fueling you..

It's the same as any food argument. Fast food isnt bad for you as long as you manage to hit your daily macros, but it makes it tougher to do.
Guess what Bacon is healthy. You need saturated fats right? It's got some protein. I found a great snack. 1/2 of a piece of bacon covered with one strand of shredded cheese. Macros: 150 cals, 20g fat, 5g protein. I'm set. It's official, bacon smothered in cheese is healthy. See my point?

But would you really eat that by itself? Add some lean ground beef a ww bun, some lettuce and tomato, and you'd have a fairly balanced meal.
Along the same lines, here are the nutrition facts for a bag of Terra Gold potato chips, which contain the ingredients Sibrek mentioned.
Serving Size: 1 oz. (28g)
Servings Per Container: 5
Amount Per Serving
Calories 130
Calories from Fat 45
Total Fat 5g
Saturated Fat 0.5g
Trans Fat 0g
Cholesterol 0mg
Sodium 80mg
Total Carb. 19g

In addition to oh say, a can of tuna, that would seem to make a complete meal. It wouldn't be particularly hard to fit into your macros either.

C'mon dude, a fifth of a bag of potato chips? You know Sibrek aint throwin the other 4/5 away. He bought a bag of potato chips and he's gonna eat it in between classes or whatever. Not with tuna, not with chicken, just a bag of potato chips. And he knows it sucks, and thats why the title of the thread isnt "Hey guys I found a healthy potato chip". It's disguised and stripped down to a ridiculous serving size just like all the unhealthy food in America is allowed to do on their labels.
