Dips, primarily having your center of gravity behind your hands to hit the tri's better. Leaning foward hits the chest more.

tricep extensions- keep ur elbows in so your bicep hits ur face (you get a lot better burn) dips, and my personel fav. which is tricep kickbacks- you'll get the best burn if done properly

when i do skull crushers i feel a sharp pain in my elbow also, but i usually just lift through it, its not that bad that i like cant lift, i would just continue to do skull crushers unless you have tendonitis or something

That's bad advice. If it hurts why do it? You could injure your elbow one of these times.

Do french curls. You can find the exercise vids, but I'm sure if you've been in the gym you've seen people do them. You hold you arm up with the weight then retract it to behind your head.

That's a basic explanation but it's a good tricep exercise.

Are you using the correct form? When I first started doing these I had my inner palms facing my head. That put a tremendous amount of pressure on my elbows. If this is your problem try doing it where your inner palms face the ceiling as your pressing the bar over your head. Personally I always forget to incorporate this as a exercise. As for one of the best tri movements I know all of members on bb.com like close grip bench presses. I like the cable pushdown because it gives the tricep that horseshoe look.
