Does anyone have any remedies to get rid of those mofos?! I've had them since I was 13-14 when I hit my growth spurt and went from 5'2'' to 5'10'' in a year and gained 75lbs. They werent bad than but since I started lifting they are on my Bicep, Outer Chest, and Quads. They look like ****ing **** and they are embarrasing! I was looking forward to this summer being able to take my shirt off and show the muscles but rather now all you see is those ****ers!!! ARG. So anyone with hints or that has had them please let me know what works!!! Thanks, BiG V

I agree, with whomever mentioned vitamin e, that will help. Also, there are some creams out there that help, some of them work, some of them don't. From what I've heard, the more womanly ones (ya know, like tha ones that smell good and would come from bath & body works or sumthin') work best. Hope this helps!

I think vitmain e will help. I have them on my waist and biceps. I tried cocoa butter which lessens the marking but doesnt work in completely eradicating them. Also has anyone had this .. on my forearms and biceps I can literally see the blueness of the muscle under the skin .. its kinda wierd but must mean there some growth going on!

I have/had crazy stretch marks on my lower back, but they've slowly gone away in the past couple years, they used to be red and looked like i was whipped across my back but they've faded away. I also have them between my delts and chest. I just dont give a flying f*ck. Most people wouldnt dare ridicule my body while they're trotting around looking all puny.

We have three layers of skin: the epidermis, or outer layer; the dermis, or middle layer; and the subcutaneous stratum, or deepest layer. Stretch marks (also known as stria atrophica and striae distensae) occur in the dermis, the elastic, resilient middle layer that allows skin to retain its shape. If stretch marks formed on the skin's surface, they'd be much easier to treat. When the dermis is constantly stretched over time, the skin becomes less elastic and the connective fibers break. The result is the markings we know as stretch marks.
Depending on your natural skin coloring, stretch marks begin as raised pink, reddish brown or dark brown striations that then turn a brighter violet or purple. Gradually these bright marks flatten and fade to a color a few shades lighter than your natural skin tone. They usually become less noticeable over time.
Stretch marks can appear anywhere on the body where the skin has been stretched (often as a result of weight gain). They're most likely to appear in places where fat is stored: the abdomen, breasts, upper arms, thighs and buttocks.
They don't go away entirely. The key is to find ways to reduce their appearance. The earlier you begin treating stretch marks, the more likely you are to lessen their appearance; they are much easier to treat when they first appear as raised red or reddish brown marks. Once they begin to flatten and fade, they become less obvious and are more difficult to treat.
About 75 to 90 percent of all pregnant women (90 percent of white women) develop stretch marks during pregnancy. Adolescents experiencing a growth spurt and athletes (especially bodybuilders who practice strenuous and repetitive exercise) are likely to get stretch marks, as is anyone who gains or loses a significant amount of weight in a short period of time.
Prevention takes diligence, but certain things can help: Massage your skin with a massage brush or glove to increase circulation; apply moisturizing cream to the area of concern on a daily basis to keep the skin supple; and eat foods that contribute to the overall health of the skin, such as those high in vitamins C and E, zinc and silica (which helps to form collagen).
For visible stretch marks that have already formed, prescription Tretinoin, or Retin-A, loosens the keratin in the outer layer of skin to remove dead cells. Though derived from vitamin A, it is much more effective than the naturally occurring vitamin because it thins the outer layer of skin in order to penetrate it. It gets into the dermis, where stretch marks occur, increasing collagen production. (This makes it more effective than alpha hydroxy acids as well.) The result is improved appearance and texture of the skin, which affects the appearance of stretch marks. Be aware that stronger dosages, though more effective, can cause stinging, swelling and redness, and an extreme sensitivity to sunlight. Skin thickening is another possible side effect, due to the heightened collagen production.

i dont really mind stretch marks.. i have them on the front of my shoulder... n i think they look good lol.... 2 scars on each side..... and lil marks on the bicep... at least u know ur muscles are growing... but the best way to keep strectch marks away is to just apply something like baby oil onto the areas that uve just trained...

I used a product that my sister is selling which helped me get rid of my acne scars (and the rest of my acne for that matter) that also works wonders for stretch marks. Its made by an american skin care and nutrition company that right now is growing like crazy. The reason behind their success it that their products actually work, are affordable and all are 100 % natural.
A friend who was annoyed with his stretch marks and loose skin (he lost half his body weight in 2 years) contacted my sister and gave it a try and he LOVED it. If you are interested in knowing more check out on her page here:mariastenvinkel.myitworks.com/shop/product/212/ and if you have questions just shoot me a message and I can help you!Me and my sister did a 180 in life and became a whole lot happier. What made us change?
