Women love talking and small talk.

The quickest way to engage them in it is to ask them some questions and let then talk. Act like you are actively listening by piping in with, I do that too, or I dont like them either or something simple like that. The point is to appear as if you are listening to them no matter how stupid they are.

Once you get good at this you will be able to steer the subject in whatever direction you like. A very important thing to remember is women have zero interest in gaming, sports, politics, star wars, fishing or anything else guys find interesting. Be sure not to steer the conversation in to those areas as they are usually an instant turn of for them.

In the end, they will do most of the talking and you will get the credit for being such a good small talker. srs.
