Is milk really as good as a mass gainer?

I’ve been seeing people say to just drink fairlife chocolate milk. The things I think about though is that the current mass gainer powder I drink advertises it has creatine, BCAAs, multiple protein sources&types… I don’t mind paying the extra $$$ for something that is worth it. So far it’s been worth it (the mass gainer)… but it’s been sold out for some time now and i’m trying to find a decent alternative. If milk is the way to go, I guess i can throw creatine in a separate drink otherwise that sounds bad

It’s all about calories. Protein is made up of BCAAs so you don’t need extra on top, especially in a bulk phase where you should be eating plenty.

Milk is high in fat, protein & micronutrients and would always be preferable to using mass gainers.

I'd argue that simply adding peanut butter and jelly or peanut butter and honey sandwiches, milk or yogurt, and handfuls of nuts/seeds is a cheaper and healthier option.

I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel
