I reckon between my mid 20s to mid to late 40s I lost half an inch of height.

I've since stopped caring or looking at heightand just pleased to be in relative good health. "Your health is your wealth" which doesn't sound obviously like wisdom until it becomes a concern

Do you attribute the loss of height to bad posture?

may be a sign of severe and chronic dehydration, or malnutrition. It can be reversed, takes about 3 month on average to re-gain intervertebral discs thickness.

I find that I’ve experienced more height growth than loss over the years.

Heavy training compresses discs, and most pros say they lost inches over time.
Discs don't usually grow or expand as you age, just sayin.

This an interesting one, I'm the same Hight I was 40 years ago. In the past I always considered myself as being slightly shorter than my similar aged friends, now I'm aware when I meet them that I seem taller. I'm the only one that workouts and keeps fit, I'm convinced this has maintained my height, whereas they have lost height, quite noticeably in some cases.

Yes. I lost over an inch. If only it was the other way around. Life seems to **** you with everything with age.

Bad posture plus vertebrae compression.

Arnold got shorter. I'm still as tall as ever
