Sneaky ghost repper nice to see you are at least around somewhere. Would rep back if I could find a post.
Hope you are well.
Seems like Austin is outright magnetic at this point. I've been watching the general area for sometime because I have family not too far from there and I think my daughter might find a tribe in the area.
It seems like there is the possibility of really cool new ideas and products emerging. Super crowded for the current built environment though, and pricey too.
Still think that Victoria [or that area] have a lot of potential; ports, rail, river, highways, and plenty of open space without a lot of sunk costs already lost to poor planning.
ETA: Trade offs everywhere OP. Which city is best will depend on what you are looking for.
I think Charlotte, NC has a lot of nice attributes [mountains/beaches/hub airport/four season climate], but I've read many people saying that it is boring.
If a place is nice then a lot of people move there and it gets expensive. See: Boise, Idaho.
I very much like the idea of a walkable neighborhood, but those are quite rare in north America and when you do find them usually very expensive or run down and crime ridden.Last edited by katya422; 07-25-2021 at 09:06 PM.
